Despite its status as a key enabling technology, the adoption of 5G in industry remains limited, mainly due to a lack of expertise, which can be addressed by incorporating 5G training into vocational schools. Since Augmented Reality (AR) faces similar challenges, it is used as the 5G application. This research aims to determine the extent to which a learning unit using 5G and AR for collaborative work can increase the intention to use these technologies in the vocational setting and gathers the factors that make up 5G acceptance. It is based on the Technology Acceptance Model 2 (TAM2). The sample includes 23 industrial mechanics students who participated in the developed learning unit. All items are scored on seven-tiered Likert scales (0 "totally disagree";6 "totally agree"). The results showed a non-significant change in behavioural intention to use 5G, with a mean of 4.95 (SD: 1.18) for the pre-test and 4.43 (SD: 1.68) for the post-test. The change in intention to use AR did not change significantly either, from 3.12 (SD: 1.38) at pre-test to 3.37 (SD: 1.16) at post-test. The factors Perceived Usefulness, Image, and Relevance had the lowest mean scores, indicating areas for targeted improvement. The significant change in Output Quality ratings is likely to reflect initial overestimation by students. The difference in Behavioural Intentions between 5G and AR suggests that AR may not be an effective technology for increasing 5G adoption in educational contexts. One recommendation is to address 5G in the learning unit not only indirectly.

Game development education has become more popular all over the World. Within this last topic presented article discusses the issues of training specialists in the field of computer games development. The authors analyze the world and landscape of this area and discuss the experience of building systematic training within the framework of the educational program of higher education in the field of "Software Engineering". In addition, the authors consider the issues of scientific and applied projects related to the field of computer games development, as well as their mutual influence on each other and on the training of specialists.

Digital technologies are transforming traditional learning methods into new paradigms such as blended learning and E-learning. Influenced by Covid-19, companies have rapidly developed EdTech solutions to help educational institutions improve and modernize their learning processes. However, many of these companies face challenges in evaluating user experience across different markets using usability testing methods. To address this gap in the literature, a consortium from the Horizon Europe project EdTech Talents began developing a Usability Platform Test to assist EdTech companies. This study presents an experimental test of one EdTech company conducted with a group of students from an Austrian university. The main results identify dimensions essential for usability testing, particularly for EdTech companies. Additionally, the results visualize user feedback, demonstrating how comments can help EdTech companies enhance their apps to reach new markets.

Federated learning emerges as a key technology, allowing decentralized model training in Internet of Healthcare Things (IoHT). This aims to preserve data privacy and accommodates the dynamic nature of health data, particularly in the development of sensitive systems such as Intrusion Detection systems (IDS), known as Federated Intrusion Detection systems (FIDS). Nevertheless, this approach is susceptible to adversarial poisoning attacks, which involve the insidious introduction of tainted data into federated models. This paper highlights the challenge of poisoning attacks against FIDS in the IoHT ecosystem. We introduce a threat scenario illustrating the potential vulnerabilities and implications of such attacks. The scenario emphasizes the need to address this nuanced cybersecurity challenge in the ongoing development and deployment of IoHT technologies. We evaluate our proposals through rigorous experiments, examining their effectiveness in simulated attack scenarios.

Contemporary eLearning environments collect a large amount of data in a learning process, tracking the activities performed by learners. Integral part of them are learning analytics tools that process, predict and visualize information to support all participants in this educational process. At the same time, the problem about protecting personal and sensitive data in inter- and intra-institutional communication and implementing secure data transmission should be considered. In this regard, the aim of the paper is to present the results of a research carried out regarding present solutions and best practices in bringing eLearning environments in line with the requirements for organizational and technical measures laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). GDPR principles and how they could technologically be implemented in eLearning environments are examined. A conceptual model for protection of students' data according to GDPR is developed.

Online learning is changing rapidly, and so is the way we absorb information and encourage new delivery methods. The traditional synchronous and in-person methods no longer work for everyone, but corporations want to encourage lifelong learning. So, what are we doing about it? Studies have shown that MOOCs highly encourage the learning experiences of audiences around the globe through innovative technologies and require workplaces to be ready to deploy resources. The article's purpose is to examine and discuss the practical usage of MOOCs in the classroom and in a corporate environment to encourage life-long learning. This will be done through exploring examples of MOOCs currently on the market, and how effective they are for learning retention. Additionally, recommendations on how to successfully integrate and incorporate these learning modules in learning paths are made. Suggested recommendations include the best path to approach how and why MOOCs work for learners through their independence of a traditional university or professional course, ease of access, and being one of the most cost-effective learning modules in education.

The study responds to the current issue of integrated learning in preprimary education. It explains concepts in the field of STEM education while elaborating on the teacher's core competencies for this learning. Although the concept is sufficiently developed, there are still questions in the area of teacher preparedness for this concept. Based on the above facts a literature analysis of research studies dealing with this concept was conducted. The analysis included papers that dealt directly with competencies concerning integrated STEM education. The results show that teachers in many countries do not feel sufficiently competent for STEM education, which may ultimately affect its implementation. Following these results, the paper describes ways to improve teacher training in Slovakia in the field of integrated education.

This research aims to identify the required competencies needed to integrate robotics activities into science education, particularly due to the lack of comprehensive models that address the necessary competencies for teachers to effectively teach science with robotics. A list of competencies needed by middle school teachers to integrate robotics activities into science classrooms was developed in the following steps. First, an initial list of competencies was developed based on a literature review in the field of robotics education that focused on various aspects of the TPACK model and open observations during a teachers' development program. Second, experts and experienced robotics teachers were interviewed regarded the competencies needed to develop and implement robotics activities suitable for science education, which resulted in an updated list of competencies and adding additional competencies in the context of 21st-century skills. Third, Fifty-five teachers rated the items on a scale from 1-not necessary to 5-very necessary. Factor analysis was performed and the items were examined concerning the rating they received. Understanding how robotics can be coordinated with pedagogy and scientific knowledge for effective teaching, the present study adapted a TPACK instrument for use of robotics to teach classroom science and reformulated it with 21st-century skills.

The combination of knowledge and skill sets from robotics and Artificial Intelligence has proven as a powerful catalyst for students' learning experiences, when applying available resources and knowledge acquired through vocational training. Within the Department of IT at an Austrian vocational high school, our students actively engage in projects that combine robotics and AI. Our diploma theses extend beyond mere classroom theory, allowing interested students to apply their knowledge in authentic, real-world scenarios in the form of thesis projects which span different engineering and IT disciplines. Our goal is to emphasize hands-on experiences and encourage our students to design, construct and program robots, even with the addition of AI technology, such as image recognition and classification trained for specific tasks. Through this practical immersion, our students gain a deeper understanding of robotics and AI, disciplines that are at the forefront of today's technological innovation. We worked with two groups of students on interdisciplinary projects bridging the gap between robotics and AI and based on our students' feedback found an increase in motivation to learn not only about the fields themselves, but also about related fields, from mathematical theory to better understand the intricate workings of AI algorithms to electronics and working with microcontrollers. Personal interviews with involved students have also pointed toward an increased motivation through the intense cooperation between the team members as well as the teachers responsible for supporting the project teams through their thesis projects. Projects connecting robotics and AI empower students to become adaptable, creative problem-solvers which is a crucial foundation for success in the twenty-first century. By fostering collaboration and critical thinking, while enhancing students' technical skills and equipping them with the adaptability and creativity they require, this educational app

Drawing robots have been made for decades, but there are only a few designs that can be used directly to teach mathematics in higher technical and IT education. Our goal is to present the case of using LEGO robots for drawing cardioid curves. Two different derivations of the cardioid curve were used to design the robot mechanism. In the first case, the curve is drawn by means of gears rolling on each other, and in the second case by means of circular movements carried out by two motors. This paper examines the details of the construction of both types, together with the theoretical background. Finally, we present a STEAM learning guided project based on the use of cardioid drawing robots.
