Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) stand as a significant global health concern, characterized by a rising number of cases and fatalities. Within this context, arrhythmias emerge as critical manifestations that require advanced diagnostic tools. In this study, we focus on ECG signals analysis plotted and saved as images employing deep learning methods to address the challenges associated with limited data in medical datasets. Through transfer learning with a relatively small ECG dataset, our research explores the effectiveness of three pre-trained models, inception-V3, DenseNet121, and Xception, in developing robust ECG image classification models. Furthermore, we utilize ensemble learning techniques, specifically averaging, to enhance classification accuracy. Our evaluation results present individual model accuracies and an enhanced weighted average ensemble accuracy of 97.82%, providing a comprehensive and effective approach for arrhythmia detection.

Information security assurance and reliability are indispensable for the sound development of the information society. Many issues related to information security breaches occurring today are caused by human factors, and information security education is indispensable for preventing and solving these issues. We also consider that recognition and understanding of information security differ depending on individual consciousness, and it is important to have a learning method that suits each person's learning style in order to improve the effect of learning. Since an e-learning system is considered to be good for learning that reflects individual learning preferences and characteristics, we have started research and developing e-learning system. We have already proposed the e-learning system which cope with the information security consciousness factor and the MBTI of learners and developed a prototype of windows application so far. In this research, along with more investigation on learning style identification, we propose to implement ontology-based subsystem for creating a learning plan corresponding to a given rubric assessment level to our system, and we also propose a method for configuring information security ontology for that purpose.

The quality of posture and the level of general physical performance rank among the most important factors of health-related fitness as they enhance the quality of life and promote the health of pupils. The aim of the research was to determine the level of health-oriented fitness in terms of general physical performance and general posture in pupils as well as to broaden the existing knowledge related to these issues. The sample consisted of a total of N=191 pupils of late school age, including 95 male and 96 female pupils, who attended primary schools in Central Slovakia. The mean age of male pupils was 12.3 +/- 0.47 years, their mean body height was 155.36 +/- 9.54 cm and the mean body weight was 54.28 +/- 9.27 kg. The mean age of female students was 12.2 +/- 0.35 years, with a body height of 154.71 +/- 6.53 cm and a body weight of 48.74 +/- 6.59 kg. When it comes to data collection methods, we used standardized methods for physical education practice and we focused on primary somatometry, general posture and general physical performance. Our findings showed the prevalence of overall qualitative level III, which is characterized as "bad body posture", both in male and female students. The boys had significantly worse results than the girls. We did not find any significant differences when it comes to general physical performance. In both genders, however, the tests confirmed a decline in endurance performance, which is important for pupils' health and fitness. We found significantly better results in female pupils when it comes to seated forward bend and pull-up holds. The boys, on the other hand, performed better in the long jump, 30-s sit-ups and 5 x 10 m shuttle run. Our findings should be perceived in a broader context of pupils' physical health and overall readiness of their bodies for daily stress.

Liver cancer is a common and often fatal disorder that is becoming more commonplace worldwide. An accurate and timely diagnosis is necessary for both effective treatment and patient survival. In machine learning techniques, particularly deep learning, obtaining a large and diverse dataset is still a challenge for deep neural network training, particularly in the medical industry. This paper presents a classification of circulating tumor cells based on the YOLOv8 algorithm. Tumor cell identification and classification can be achieved by utilizing the algorithm's multi-layer high-level stacking, weight sharing, local connection, and pooling characteristics. The goal is to design a liver cancer classification system that makes it easier and increases the efficiency of doctors in analyzing the results of liver cancer. The models show the absolute the accuracy is 100%, 100%, 98%, 96% to Yolov8n, Yolov8s, Yolov8m, and Yolov8l respectively.

Optimal professional skills development requires adequate assessment and development tools. One of the most successful methods for developing social and emotional skills, which are important for counselling, is video training, which allows for visualized self-reflection and self-assessment. The video training method helps students find a balance between managing the counselling interview and a respectful partnership approach, finding their own way to build a relationship with and activate the client. The aim of this paper is to present our experience with the use of video-based interaction guidance in the development of social and emotional competences of students of the Career Guidance, Counselling and Education programme at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, which we piloted in the course Counselling Interview. The video recording can be one of the self-assessment tools that enables students to become aware of the potential for further development of social and emotional skills towards competences through self-awareness.

The analysis of the signal amplitude from different angles in an anechoic chamber is an essential practice in the field of acoustics, especially in the context of musical instruments such as the violin. Anechoic chambers are specially designed spaces to absorb the reflections of sound waves, providing a controlled and stable environment in which accurate and repeatable measurements of sound sources can be made. The recorded acoustic signals were analyzed by obtaining the acoustic spectra in the form of amplitude spectra and continuous frequency spectra. Starting from the idea that the timbre of the violin is formed by the number and intensity of the harmonics, and the factors that influence the timbre are the number of harmonics;the position of the harmonics in their series;harmonic intensity;the position of the foundation on the height scale;fundamental intensity;the noise factor that accompanies the musical sound, in the paper different categories of violins from anatomical features of resonance wood point of view were compared. The results highlighted the fact that the anatomical structure of the wood used for the violin body is one of the factors influencing the acoustic quality of violins, but not decisive.

English in higher education is expected to surpass and be the main provider of academic opportunities, knowledge and skills. Motivational games are presented as an innovative, educational and adaptable proposal compared to traditional methods. This study explores the impact of motivational games on the oral competence of university students. The population was made up of 30 students in the fourth semester of the Pedagogy of Foreign Language (PINE) program at Technical University of Ambato. The process of this quasi-experimental research began with the collection of data through a pre-test and post-test that evaluated the speaking skills of the students prior to the application and treatment with motivational games. For the pre-test and post-test, the third part of the oral PET exam (Preliminary English Test) a standardized English evaluation was used. These pre- and post-tests were applied to the experimental group of 30 students at the beginning of the research in face-to-face modality applying the four criteria prescribed by the PET test: 1. grammar and vocabulary 2. pronunciation 3. discourse management 4. interactive communication. The results indicate a significant improvement in progress (46.77%) across a total mean of all 30 students and all four criteria. Finally, the Shapiro test was generated, which helped determine the rejected null hypothesis. The results and studies carried out allow us to confidently affirm the influence of motivational games on the development of students' speaking skills by addressing challenges such as pronunciation and promoting confidence when speaking. Motivational games allow students to develop cooperation, critical thinking, decision making and healthy competition.

The Programming Examination Platform (PeP) is an innovative system that leverages GPT-4o technology to revolutionize programming exams. This advanced platform generates personalized exam questions on demand, ensuring high security and relevance to each student's study material. Using AI, PeP creates unique, customized questions for each exam session, enhancing both the security and fairness of the examination process. Accessibility is a key focus of PeP. The platform includes dedicated support for visually impaired students, featuring text-to-speech and speech-to-text functionality. In PeP, traditional exams are task-based and challenge students to demonstrate their coding skills through practical assignments. In contrast, exams for visually impaired students are formatted as multiple-choice questions to accommodate their needs. This distinction ensures that all students, regardless of their abilities, can effectively showcase their knowledge. PeP also implements robust anti-cheat measures, preventing students from exiting the exam or copying content, thus maintaining the integrity of the examination. The platform is designed with redundancy and reliability in mind, saving completed exams to a secure database to ensure continuity even if AI services are interrupted. Students benefit from comprehensive feedback, receiving immediate grades and feedback directly from the AI, which facilitates faster learning and improvement. Flexibility is another key feature of PeP, allowing students to resume exams after interruptions and enables supervisors to schedule and manage exams effortlessly. The platform includes a web management interface that allows teachers and proctors to efficiently manage exams and monitor student progress. Through this interface, students can view their results, check their rankings, and book their exams online.

Modern teaching technologies, such as CodeRunner, significantly enhance the quality of programming courses and contribute to the ongoing revolution in teaching. This paper presents our experience using a novel and innovative approach to teach and assess programming courses through the use of automated grading systems like CodeRunner. Our research exposes the transition from the traditional to the new method and focuses on enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. The study demonstrates that the utilization of CodeRunner questions in practices, quizzes, and evaluations offers valuable insights into the academic progress and learning outcomes of students. These findings have important implications for informatics education and can guide educators in adopting innovative and effective teaching methods.

In this paper the Robotarium-UCM is presented, a low-cost multi-robot remote laboratory for teaching robotics, control and distributed robotics. Robotarium-UCM is a physical laboratory capable of being remotely operated that is part of the remote laboratories of the research group to which the authors belong. The software that supports the Robotarium-UCM is composed of three pillars: Robot Firmware, Agent and Hub. A student multi-robot rendezvous experiment using the Robotarium-UCM is described as well as a collaborative construction experience.
