The problem of threshold ranking of alternatives represented by vector fuzzy estimates of a three-gradation scale (high, medium, low) is considered in the article. A generalization of the corresponding procedure for fuzzy estimates is proposed, based on the calculation of the fuzzy cardinalities of a set of fuzzy estimates for each gradation. We discuss the general properties that the fuzzy cardinality of a set of fuzzy estimates must satisfy. The proposed method is illustrated by the example of ranking articles based on their assessments by reviewers and considering information about the degree of confidence of reviewers in their assessments. This information from reviewers is converted into vectors of three-grade fuzzy ratings for each article. These alternatives are then ranked according to the developed methodology. The differences between the results of such ranking and the ranking of unblurred estimates and/or after applying alternative methods are discussed.

The pervasive use of artificial intelligence (AI) in processing users' data is well documented with the use of AI believed to profoundly change users' way of life in the near future. However, there still exists a sense of mistrust among users who engage with AI systems some of this stemming from lack of transparency, including users failing to understand what AI is, what it can do and its impact on society. From this, the emerging discipline of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) has emerged, a method of designing and developing AI where a systems decisions, processes and outputs are explained and understood by the end user. It has been argued that designing for AI systems especially for XAI poses a unique set of challenges as AI systems are often considered complex, opaque and difficult to visualise and interpret especially for those unfamiliar with their inner workings. For this reason, visual interpretations which match users' mental models of their understanding of AI are a necessary step in the development of XAI solutions. Our research examines the inclusion of designers in an early-stage analysis of an AI recruitment system taking a design thinking approach in the form of 3 workshops. We discovered that workshops with designers included yielded more visual interpretations of big ideas related to AI systems, and the inclusion of designers encouraged more visual interpretations from non-designers and those not typically used to employing drawing as a method to express mental models.

It is not only limited to the consumable fish but also extends into the world of aquarium-based fishes where the major issue branches into the origin of the aquarium trade resulting in the disruption of the diversity of aquariums. To address this issue, a CNN model was built, and after hyper-parameter tuning, it was observed that is a need for usage of transfer learning and thus a mobile-based application was developed along with the integration of MobileNetV1, a transfer learning model which facilitates the fish species identification with the help of a single click. The application eases the customer's uncertainty of a particular fish species by providing an accurate prediction of the fishes.

The paper considers the problem known in the literature as the multiprocessor task scheduling. And virtual laboratories are believed to have significant potential to offer efficient and cost-effective solutions for practical lab work compared to traditional labs. Moreover, currently there is a growing implementation of these solutions in various educational and professional areas where practical knowledge is crucial, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the current research focuses on the design and development of a 3D virtual laboratory for computer hardware classes aiming to provide a solution to the problem of the lack of physical equipment for conducting practical IT laboratory activities. Additionally, to develop the virtual laboratory, tools such as Blender, Sculptris, and ZBrush were used for modelling, and the Unity Game Engine was used for programming and rendering. In data interpretation, particularly for low-dimensional data, fuzzy logic-based rule systems are valued for their transparency and interpretability in decision-making, crucial in sectors like healthcare and finance. However, these systems struggle with increasing dataset complexity and dimensionality. This study introduces a groundbreaking approach by integrating the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) with Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO), marking the first instance where a metaheuristic technique is embedded within the ANFIS architecture for automated rule selection and reduction. The originality of our approach lies in the seamless synergy between the robustness of fuzzy logic and the dynamic optimization capability of BPSO as a specialized firing strengths selector meticulously tailored for effective rule reduction and performance optimization. The model minimizes rule updates and automatically adjusts BPSO parameters, aiming to improve interpretability and efficiency. Applied to eight classification benchmarks, the modified ANFIS demonstrates significant gains in computational efficiency, achieving time reductions as substantial as 90% to 98% across various datasets, and almost halving the number of rules compared to traditional ANFIS.
