This research explores the landscape of Vietnamese storytelling through the integration of the cutting-edge voice cloning technology. Rigorous experiments with Multispeaker Fastspeech2 and VITS, utilizing evaluation metrics such as DNSMOS and GE2E, lead to the selection of Multispeaker Fastspeech2 for its superior synthesis capabilities, with an impressive DNSMOS score of 4.3, ensuring an authentic and emotionally resonant storytelling experience within the framework of this study. Combined with the pre-trained HiFi-GAN model, a swift and lightweight mel-spectrogram decoder, along with the pre-trained ResNet34 model for robust speaker feature encoding. These integrations into a storytelling system, score of 4.2 in MOS in the overall satisfaction, contribute to an innovative and culturally enriched storytelling experience for both children and parents. Tunisian Arabic (ISO 693-3: aeb) is a distinct variety native to Tunisia, derived from Arabic and enriched by various historical influences. This research introduces the "Normalized Orthography for Tunisian Arabic" (NOTA), an adaptation of CODA* guidelines for transcribing Tunisian Arabic using Arabic script. The aim is to enhance language resource development by ensuring user-friendliness and consistency. The updated standard addresses challenges in accurately representing Tunisian phonology and morphology, correcting issues from transcriptions based on Modern Standard Arabic.

One of the tools most used by database administrators in the analysis of database systems quality of service problems are system event logs, which contain detailed information about the actions (SQL transactions) performed over time in a database system. Using these files, applying their experience and appealing to the expertize of data analysis tools, database administrators seek to establish event patterns that may identify the causes and reveal a path for establishing an appropriate solution to the problems. In this paper, we present and discuss a process mining system specifically designed and implemented to detect operational bottlenecks in relational database systems using transaction logs, providing expert information for their resolution, and contributing to improve system's quality of service.

Cryptography incorporates application and scientific examination of methodologies aimed at facilitating secure communication in the face of potentially threatening behavior. In a broader sense, cryptography refers to the development and examination of protocols with the goal of safeguarding private communications from unauthorized access by third parties. Modern cryptography is situated within a diverse range of academic disciplines, encompassing mathematics, computer science, information security, electrical engineering, digital signal processing, physics, and other related topics. In this paper, we use the RSA algorithm along with the Moore-Penrose inverse of a matrix to establish an encryption method for the secure delivery of confidential messages.

The widespread diffusion of the Internet of Things allows its application in several fields for providing services to users based on the specific application. In particular, thermal facilities can exploit data acquired through the Internet of Things paradigm to monitor the structure and its treatments and improve the user experience. Therefore, this work introduces a framework to control anomalies and improve the personalization of treatments based on the employment of Recommender systems. The recommendation approach is tested through the MovieLens100k dataset, obtaining promising results.

In this age of Internet of Things (IoT), remote health monitoring and out-of-hospital treatment is not a distant dream. Wearable medical sensors and smartphones in the current IoT-driven environment allow for real-time monitoring of important health markers, with data quickly sent to distant specialists for analysis. Moreover, due to the onset of technological advancements like Electronic Health Records (EHR), IoT-enabled devices, Public Open health Data (POD), Linked Opened Data (LOD), remote health monitoring, vast quantities of information created in this domain as big data in health care. Intelligent storage and analysis of this big data may lead to generate critical insights for future predictions. The storage challenge of big data can be mitigated by the use of cloud computing. However, processing of Personal Health Information (PHI) on remote medical servers or cloud raises serious concern about the security of critical PHI. One immediate solution is for the information proprietors to transmit and store their delicate information in encrypted form. However, traditional encryption schemes do not support processing on that encrypted form of data. To take full advantage of cloud computing and outof-hospital treatment, there should be a solution to process on that encrypted form of data directly. In this paper, we propose a framework which supports secure data transmission from medical sensors to distant cloud server or remote medical organizations, secure processing on that data to provide distant medical treatments and perform secure machine learning-based analytics on such sensor-generated datasets. For this secure processing, we use Fully Homomorphic Encryption(FHE) scheme, which supports direct processing on encrypted data. Our implementation shows the proposed secure framework is capable of disease detection remotely in an encrypted domain confirming PHI data confidentiality. Late-life challenges, particularly for seniors, present significant socioeconomic and health-related complexity. Alzheimer's disease, the major cause of dementia in the elderly, causes progressive cognitive and memory decline. Although dementia becomes increasingly common with age, it is not a natural part of the process. Alzheimer's disease has about 55 million global sufferers, with 60% of them living in low- and middle-income countries. It accounts for 60-70% of dementia cases and presents as symptoms such as forgetfulness, confusion, impaired regular activities, and visual abnormalities. This study investigates the design and implementation of intelligent software designed for mild Alzheimer's patients, with features such as appointment scheduling and prescription reminders. Aimed at tackling hospital-related issues, the program proved efficient, assisting patients in managing appointments and drugs while being user-friendly for the elderly. The study emphasizes the critical role of technology in supporting mild Alzheimer's patients, with implications for health-care professionals and governments, particularly in places with a high prevalence of the condition.

In classical pseudorandom generators (PRNGs), an initial seed is a fundamental requirement to generate a series of randomnumbers. These generated numbers are intricately tied to the specific seed value used. In digital computation, seed sources are often derived through deterministic processes, which means there is a possibility of using the same seed value deterministically, leading to potential predictability. Conversely, quantum mechanics introduces an inherent randomness that stems from quantumproperties such as superposition states, wave-particle duality, and the probabilistic outcomes associated with measurements of quantum superposition states. Leveraging these quantum properties as seed sources represents a promising and convenient avenue, particularly in the context of the post-quantum era. This report is divided into two distinguishable branches. The first segment delves into the impact of seed dependency by employing two well-known PRNG methods. In the subsequent section, we explore how a quantum alternative can serve as a practical and viable solution to address the challenges associated with seed dependency and predictability in the realm of random number generation. This quantum approach uses the inherent randomness in quantum mechanics to enhance the quality and security of random number generation processes.

In the current digital era, social networks have become privileged spaces of expression for individuals, allowing them to share their opinions. However, the informal and often ambiguous nature of communications on these platforms can make it difficult to interpret the tone and intent of messages. In particular, the form of irony, sarcasm, can be particularly tricky to pin down. The automatic detection of sarcasm in Arabic texts is a recent area of research that has experienced significant growth in recent years. Indeed, understanding sarcasm is essential for an accurate analysis of feelings and opinions expressed on social networks. Our article is part of this dynamic by presenting our research work on the detection of sarcasm in tweets in dialectal Arabic. We developed a corpus of annotated data, composed of 19669 tweets labeled according to their sarcastic polarity. This corpus was then used to train and evaluate different classification models based on the BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) architecture. Our results indicate that the Arabert-V2-twitter model, finely tuned to our corpus of data, achieves an accuracy score of 81.24% for sarcasm classification.

The proper conservation of underwater heritage is essential to honouring our past and understanding our history and culture. However, the underwater environment poses certain challenges, such as limited visibility, the absence of GPS signals, and the complexity of ocean currents, which complicate precise submerged localisation. Acoustic communication emerges as the predominant solution due to the effectiveness with which sound travels underwater. Nevertheless, developing accurate and reliable acoustic technologies has been significantly challenging due to cost constraints and technical complexity. This article presents the development of a low-cost buoy system prototype for underwater location. It aims to overcome the economic and technical limitations that have restricted the use of advanced technologies in preserving underwater heritage. By integrating cost-effective acoustic communication, this system seeks to provide an effective and accessible solution for the precise signalling of points of interest and the localisation of divers and remotely operated vehicles, boosting conservation and underwater exploration efforts. This work details the proposed architecture and the results obtained, discussing future improvements and research directions.
