This study aims to examine the impact of locus of control, lifestyle, financial literacy, and financial attitudes on the financial management behavior of university students. The population used was university students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The study included a sample of 281 respondents who were picked using a non-probability selection methodology called purposive sampling. The analysis tool employed was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) utilizing the SmartPLS3 software. The investigation revealed that locus of control, lifestyle, financial literacy, and financial attitudes substantially impact university students' financial management behavior.

The aim of this study is to aid and encourage autistic children to learn the Arabic alphabet with supervision of their mentors and instructors. This is done by creating a mobile AR application, LearnIT, which shows the Arabic alphabet letter visualized as an overlaid augmented object whose name begins with the letter on the given flashcards. LearnIT provides animations and sound effects related to the 3D objects in an attempt to boost the children's enthusiasm for learning and memorizing the alphabet as proven in many studies that using animations in education is one of the most powerful instructional tool for teaching individuals with special needs. The evaluation metrics that will be used to test the effectiveness of LearnIT in the study are computational assessment and engagement questionnaire. The computational assessment will be done by matching the correct letter that corresponds with a visualized 3d object and its related word. While the other evaluation tool targets the child's caregiver by providing a questionnaire that assess the child's level of engagement and experience while using LearnIT.

The purpose of the article is to present the use of instructional design ADDIE on the basis of the course "Professional foreign language" (English) worked out for the program "Translator in the sphere of professional communication" (Chemical engineers) which is operated online at technological university. The necessity of proper organization of workmakes it important to use the instructional design, which must be flexible as it can be necessary to change it quickly depending on the demands of the engineering industry and the interests of the graduates. The model of instructional design ADDIE is considered appropriate. The main peculiarity of it here is that the second stage "Design" is combined with the system of backward design, because the program has two forms of assessment: the final project and the standard exam. The final project is an example of interdisciplinary approach and can be strongly recommended as a part of ultimate assessment for advanced students who are selected and trained with the help of differentiated approach. Three learning paths (advanced, intermediate, basic) give the opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to potential employers from international companies when presenting the final project. Such methods of investigation are used: observation, analysis of previous experience and creative activity of the students, comparison of two forms of education, methods of data collection and accumulation, methods of control and measurement, and methods of implementing research results in pedagogical practice.

The term "readiness" is often referred to in pedagogical and psychological literature devoted to the organization of educational processes, especially in dissertation studies. Meanwhile, readiness is understood as the ability of a future specialist to perform a certain type of activity. This article suggests a feasible approach to solving criterion challenges that a teacher may face in fostering or developing readiness for any type of activity, illustrated by a specific discipline. Given the evolution of advanced skills, which today's specialists must possess for quick and effective problem solving, such skills as the use of technology, monitoring, and control are deemed relevant and well-timed. This is what this study is devoted to. Given the complexity and interconnectedness of the factors determining the future engineering teachers' readiness to create and use DEC in professional activities, it is imperative to input those assumptions whereby the obtained results would be valid. As 3D printing technology transforms product design and manufacturing, educational programs must incorporate its principles to prepare engineering students for the workforce. Establishing dedicated labs and integrating 3D printing into higher education curricula has become popular among universities and colleges. However, insufficient attention is paid to using this learning practice to apply knowledge of engineering fundamentals and develop skills for implementing efficient and reliable additive manufacturing processes. Therefore, new approaches are needed to increase the pedagogical value of this learning practice. This study explores the effectiveness of the project-based learning (PBL) approach for enhancing the understanding of mathematical, engineering, and 3D printing concepts and their application by mechanical engineering students. We developed a pilot course, "Engineering and mathematical applications in 3D printing," for junior and senior-year students. The course included lectures on design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), 3D printing technologies, printability, and troubleshooting, as well as project tasks involving the design and fabrication of functional objects such as asymmetric spinning-tops, Pythagorean cups, and print-in-place mechanisms. In the study, we examined how participants applied their mathematical and engineering knowledge to solve complex design challenges using 3D printing technology, and their perceptions of the learning experience. Using an exploratory research design, data were collected through observations, student works, and post-course questionnaires. The findings indicate that the students successfully completed the project tasks, demonstrating their ability to apply engineering principles and optimize designs for 3D printing. The students highly appreciated the course's project-oriented format and its contribution to their understanding of 3D printing.

The pairwise comparison matrix is often used in different multi-criteria decision-making methods. The matrix identification process is related to the curse of dimensionality because as the size of the matrix increases, the number of queries to experts increases exponentially. One such method is a Characteristic Objects METhod (COMET) which requires building a Matrix of Expert Judgments (MEJ) in order to evaluate alternatives. However, to build MEJ, a decision maker or an expert should answer multiple pairwise comparison questions, which can be expensive in both financial and time terms. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that efficiently reduces the number of pairwise comparison questions to an expert. The algorithm is based on the triads' consistency and achieves more than ninety percent reduction in questions for big expert judgment matrices. Although the original algorithm is proposed for the COMET method, it could be generalized and used with such methods as RANking COMparison (RANCOM) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The efficiency of the algorithm is proved using a simulation approach. The results of those simulations, as well as the pseudocodes, are presented in the paper.

A service-learning project, the so-called OSOR (Open-source and SOcial Responsibility) have been implemented from 2018 to 2022 in the "Manufacturing Technology" (MT) subject. Its aim is to manufacture products to assist people in a dependency situation. We investigate how the OSOR evolution has affected students' learning outcomes, the subject's significance, the level of difficulty, and other factors. We identified four main variants, which depended on internal and external factors. We discovered that the various variants had no effect on MT's final score. The COVID-19 pandemic in the academic year 2019-2020 reduced hands-on activities and, presumably, the acquisition of essential technical knowledge. Regardless of the implemented format, a sizable portion of students thought theMT subject was fascinating and crucial to their future jobs. The introduction of an assigned patient and the ill-defined nature of cases could be the reason for an increase in the perceived subject difficulty. Additionally, this may help to explain why students' general feedback focused less on the OSOR and more on their overall 'satisfaction with the subject'. Having complete creative freedom and control over the deliverables during variant 1 gave a higher level of satisfaction than working on scenarios with loose requirements imposed by actual patients during variants 2 to 4. The most notable products were successfully produced despite the challenges in variants 3 and 4 being more complex. The final poll for the upcoming edition of OSOR will include particular questions to evaluate the development of social responsibility competency.

In this paper, we present a robot model inspired by Schilling's models, which can be used as an illustrative tool for teaching mathematics in universities according to today's requirements. Using LEGO SPIKE Prime educational robot kits, we designed a complex, custom-drawing robot capable of representing epi- and hypotrochoid curves. Our goal was to create a construct that provides insight into the process of generating trochoidal curves and is easily reconfigurable and adjustable in multiple ways to produce as much variety of curves as possible.

This article considers the program description, which is implemented through an operator's console or mobile phone to assess simultaneously the reaction of each participant in the experiment and the group as a whole to visual triggers that can vary in two ways: the digit value (from 0 to 9) - the digit color. Once the experiment is completed, individual and group performance scores of the complex sensorimotor reaction of the participants are displayed on the monitor screen, and the corresponding system database is generated for further processing and analysis of the results. Running the experiment with a program to test the sensorimotor reaction of a computer operator ensured high reliability in selecting computer operators and increased the technological capacity of the assessment by determining the efficiency of the complex sensorimotor reaction of a human operator rather than the time. This article provides the results of assessing the effectiveness of the complex sensorimotor reaction of a computer operator under group and individual conditions and presents their comparative values.
