Our study originates from the lack of scientific analysis in political life. Recent advancements in Natural Language Processing enable a comprehensive examination of political discourse and party programs. The initial step in a voter's decision-making process is distinguishing the political orientation of parties, emphasizing the need for clear distinctions in the programs presented by these political entities. We conducted an analysis of the political programs of the six primary political parties in Morocco, situated in North Africa. Our objective was to determine whether their political proposals could be effectively classified within the progressive-conservative framework. Two distinct methods were employed for this assessment. The first method involved calculating the frequency of terms and their cosine similarity. The properties of word embeddings facilitate the representation of similar words, thereby allowing for the grouping of related topics. The second method utilized prompt engineering with the Language Model "LLaMA". The findings indicate that Moroccan political parties can be effectively classified into the progressive-conservative framework based on an analysis of their respective programs.

Froth flotation analysis is a critical task in mineral processing and metallurgical applications. Using self-monitoring approaches as MoCo, SparK, Jigsaw Puzzle, and Barlow Twins helps us avoid dependence on extensive labeled datasets. Our experimental setup evaluates segmentation performance metrics, comparison with baseline models, and visualization of segmentation results. The study highlights the unique contributions of each self-supervised method, showcasing their impact on class imbalance handling, robustness to variations, and computational efficiency. The best of proposed methods outperform the baseline on labeled dataset by 3% IoU metric. The findings offer valuable insights into the strengths and limitations of employing self-supervised learning in froth image analysis, paving the way for further advancements in the field.

This study examines road safety as a part of social and economic costs in sustainable development management. The research focuses on the road network in Warmia-Masuria Voivodeship, Poland, analyzing 180 homogeneous sections of regional roads totaling over 1,800 km. Two methods are employed: reactive and proactive. The reactive method assesses risk based on accident density and accident cost density, classifying road sections into five risk levels. Results show that 4% of the analysed network does not meet sustainable development criteria, requiring immediate action to reduce risk. The proactive method utilizes regression models to predict social losses, expressed as pedestrian accident density, injured victim density, and severely injured and fatality density. These models consider factors such as traffic volume and road characteristics. The study demonstrates that road safety measures can effectively evaluate network sustainability from both social and economic perspectives, allowing for targeted interventions to improve safety and sustainability in road infrastructure management.

The rapid growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) has positioned it as a critical resource for remote healthcare monitoring, emphasizing the need for secure and efficient retrieval of medical data and driven by advancements in technology. Nevertheless, the limited capacity of IoT devices renders it difficult to acquire medical data securely and effectively. In an edge cloud environment, an edge device provides an enormous amount of resources, while Content-Centric Networking (CCN) can enhance the performance of data retrieval. In order to perform IoT edge-based medical data retrieval, we are motivated to integrate IoT with the Edge cloud and take advantage of CCN. This paper proposes a secure remote healthcare management system integrated with CCN-based IoT with edge devices. The proposed security architecture employs hash name prefixes instead of plain text and signatures to provide secure medical data delivery and takes advantage of CCN's benefits to increase the efficiency of medical data retrieval.

Rapid technological advancements have led to novel prospects, including providing health services through mobile applications. Within the context of the Philippines, a substantial portion of the population deals with oral hygiene issues, affecting them with diseases that can significantly impact their overall well-being. In response to this challenge, Oralysis, a mobile-based expert system, has been developed to discern various oral health diseases and guide preemptive measures. The implementation of the decision tree algorithm serves as the cornerstone for disease diagnosis, augmenting the application's decision-making capabilities through the formulation of simulated queries. The acceptability of the application was evaluated in terms of functionality, usability, and efficiency following the ISO 9126 standards using a five-point Likert scale. The evaluation reveals an average score of 4.06, indicating that respondents rated the application as highly acceptable in diagnosing oral health diseases.

Managing energy has emerged as a significant concern for digital enterprises due to their environmental impact. The approaches employed within the sphere of incorporating energy into databases consist mainly in building an energy cost model for a load of queries in order to predict the energy consumption of the system, then applying an cost-driven technique focused on energy optimization by revisisting query processing, algorithm planning, and update techniques. Creating an energy cost model involves several distinct stages, starting with a system audit to pinpoint crucial parameters and progressing to the calculation of energy quantities through the utilization of a machine learning (ML) methodology. Machine learning has rapidly emerged as a technology widely employed across various industries and stands as one of the most rapidly advancing domains. It encompasses a multitude of algorithms aimed at accomplishing common tasks such as prediction and classification. In this study, we evaluate three predictive techniques in formulating an energy cost model for an analytical query. The primary goal of this paper is to present a universal approach for constructing energy models during query processing in a relational database and demonstrate the influence of the machine learning phase on the final model's accuracy.

Navigating unfamiliar environments remains a challenge for individuals with visual impairments. Fortunately, recent technological advancements have brought forth innovative smart stick prototypes to aid in independent navigation. This survey delves into the design landscape of smart sticks, meticulously analyzing 21 studies published between 2018 and 2023. Our analysis reveals a strong preference for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ultrasonic sensors as core components. The integration of additional sensors like water and infrared detectors broadens the capabilities of these systems, while the inclusion of cameras enriches data collection. Interestingly, the survey identifies the Jetson Nano as an underexplored yet promising technology. Furthermore, the studies showcase the impressive adaptability of smart stick technology. The utilization of diverse microcontrollers and exploration of varying detection ranges demonstrate the potential for customization and innovation to meet specific needs. This comprehensive survey offers valuable insights for researchers and developers, illuminating promising avenues for future advancements in smart stick technology and ultimately empowering independent navigation for the visually impaired.

The current trends of technology advancement offered with such features have given a substantive support to the human development including social life interaction, business, and education sector. It is especially in the government sector that technology development is currently being the trending topic since the gradual shift paradigm comes to adapt such distinctive structures in order to reach to beneficial value. Thus, this paper aims to investigate the technology adaptation followed by its adoption in giving a critical insight into helping to run the administrative management of public school. The literature analysis was made by reviewing the current works related to the technology adaption and its adoption in contributing to the public school administrative management. The finding of this study found that the significant features of advanced technology enhancement provide a sustainable contribution in playing the role on helping to systematize the administration procedure and process in a good flow and proper way in line with the original objective of organization. Thus, this study is supposed to contribute in giving the particular insight on developing the framework on looking at the clear point about the technology adaption and adoption on administrative management.

The embedded systems have a great contribution in the field of health remote monitoring. However, in reality in most cases, health remote monitoring systems are more interested in monitoring patients than in the equipment to be used for care. Without these equipments, care becomes impossible. In addition, these systems acquire data on the same site, store them either locally or send them to a central processing unit. In our work, the installations to be monitored are of different types and are distributed on over many multi-sites. This requires very heterogeneous equipments to remote monitor them. As a result, we are going to find solutions to the question relating to the collection of measurement data and the location of installations distributed over many remote sites. Then, it is a matter of quickly analyzing and processing this data in order to make decisions to intervene the maintenance team in the event of detected failures.

An increase in the elderly population has led to a growing demand for constant health care. Remote monitoring of seniors aims to provide more effective care and promote patient independence, whether they live in residential homes, or their own homes supported by a domiciliary care service. It encompasses several issues present in their lives that may benefit from being assisted and monitored remotely. There are many successful studies and products focused on one of these issues, but there are no systems, to the best of our knowledge, that serve as a broad remote monitoring solution for multiple of these topics simultaneously. This paper proposes an architecture for an intelligent health monitoring ecosystem to interact with these various aspects of the elderly's daily life, including monitoring of vital signs, movement and medication intake, detection of falls, sleep quality analysis, access control, and patient-caregiver communication. This solution will make use of wearables and medication dispensers, and it will securely store all patient-related information into an HL7 FHIR standardized database, from where machine learning models can import data for predicting important information and generating alerts when necessary. Next steps involve the development of this proposed system and testing it with elderly volunteers living in a residential home or subscribed to its domiciliary care services.
