We have come to know how we can use BL-algebra to construct a Block Code and how we may use it for encoding purposes. In this paper, we explore a method to decode the BL-code with the help of the predefined order between the BL-algebra L and the generated code C. While encoding, we take an arbitrary nonempty subset P on which the BL-function is defined. To start the decoding process, we establish a relation between the distance and weights of two codewords in C. We reconstruct the graph of the BL-algebra and find out the l-subsets of P

The contemporary challenge of increased cyberattacks poses risks to individuals and businesses, impacting the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of sensitive data transmitted over networks. The resulting harm can vary from minor service interruptions to significant financial losses. While conventional security measures like firewalls and antivirus software provide an initial layer of protection, there is a recognized need to develop effective Intrusion Detection systems (IDS). Current IDS solutions incorporate various classifiers, both individual and ensemble, yet challenges persist in identifying novel intrusions accurately. Thiswork introduces a novel model, the Intrusion Detection System, using the Stacked Ensemble Learning Technique (IDSELSE), which addresses these challenges. IDSELSE leverages Kmeans SMOTE oversampling to handle class imbalance and enhance minority class representation. Additionally, it employs Boruta for feature selection, streamlining the model's efficiency by eliminating irrelevant features. In classification, IDSELSE utilizes the Stacked Ensemble Learning Technique with a combination of Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LGBM) and Decision Tree (DT) as base classifiers, supported by the meta-model Logistic Regression (LR), to make accurate predictions. Performance evaluation involves assessing F1-score and accuracy through tenfold cross-validation, demonstrating the consistent superiority of the proposed model over various single-classifier and ensemble models documented in the literature.

Ensuring security is essential in today's world, whether it's to protect property or ensure personal safety. However, traditional surveillance systems initially designed to meet these needs have certain shortcomings. Personal security personnel responsible for constantly monitoring screens may miss crucial sequences. Determining when to record camera feeds to minimize storage wastage can be complex. Also, making these recorded sequences usable and actionable represents an additional challenge. Our goal is to enhance video surveillance tasks through artificial intelligence. In this paper, we introduce NextVision, a user-friendly and intelligent video surveillance platform. We combine computer vision and natural language processing to automatically identify objects in real time and provide interaction based on textual queries. Powered by a Django-based backend architecture and a frontend supported by Next JS, synchronized via sockets in real time, NextVision evolves machine learning to improve security for everyone proactively.

The present investigation presents the design and implementation of a customized esthetic prosthesis of the entire upper extremity for a 34-year-old patient, using 3D scanning and additive manufacturing. The design and modeling of the device are based on the exact adaptation to the patient's morphology, which isachieved by employing the use of the mesh of points of both the residual limband the healthy limb. The use of Meshmixer software simplifies the design and modeling of the prosthetic device, ensuring a high similarity between the two limbs. The patient's perception, from the psychological point of view, when receiving the prosthetic device and the changes generated by the personalized aesthetic prosthesis are also analyzed. This research aims to advance personalized medicine by offering an innovative and comfortable solution for patients with unique amputation challenges. This approach has the potential to transform rehabilitation and improve the quality of life of affected patients.

Manual data annotation involves human annotators labeling and reviewing data according to predefined criteria. It can be time-consuming and expensive, so automated data annotation based on artificial intelligence algorithms has gained popularity. However, the classical integrated artificial intelligence models have some limitations, especially in complex scenarios characterized by occlusions, low resolution, and illumination variability. This paper introduces new evaluation methods for image instance segmentation, focusing on the need for easy-to-understand quality metrics in the face of the complexity of image annotation. Considering the difficulties of manual annotation processes and the diversity of computer vision models focused on instance segmentation, four quality metrics are proposed: Number of Detections, Normalized Bounding Box Area, Normalized Mask Area, and Bounding Box Occlusion Rate. These metrics attempt to overcome the difficulties of select the best model for automated labeling based on conventional metrics such as Intersection Over Union and Mean Average Precision, especially in scenarios where classical models have limitations. The application and analysis of these metrics in the OVIS database demonstrates their potential to improve the interpretation of instance segmentation models, thus facilitating a more accurate and accessible automated annotation process.

The primary reason for blindness in wealthy countries is diabetic retinopathy, a devastating eye condition that results from diabetes mellitus. This article demonstrates how retinal fundus pictures may be used to detect diabetic retinopathy using image processing and deep learning. A practical method that incorporated the techniques was employed for the improvement of retinal fundus pictures. Every step of the image processing process has been classified in experiments. The categorization analysis was carried out following picture processing. Average values were discovered after 20 trials were conducted for each level. In this trial, the recall rate was 93.33%. The outcomes demonstrate how effective and successful the suggested approach is at using retinal fundus pictures to identify diabetic retinopathy. We are segmenting the region depending on sensitivity specificity and accuracy using the MIFNET method, and we are training the CNN algorithm model utilizing DLT.

Any electric power system should maintain an energy equilibrium at every moment. This is the case for existing AC systems and will be the case for future High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) grids based online-commutated converters (LCC) substations. In this paper, a new proposal to define the voltage in the HVDC is proposed with an analysis of the input data, the challenges, and limitations regarding the level range of the DC Voltage for interconnections between countries with special power lines parameters, power converters substations and cost balance. The case study evaluates the Interconnection Colombia - Panama, the power line has considered the aspects related to the corona phenomenon in HVDC transmission lines according to the cable selection, substation back-to-back, submarine cable and losses;with 400-500 kV for 1700km for 280MW per pole or the same voltage for 950km for 1500MW per pole.

We investigate the use of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) on a crime dataset featuring the number of occurrences of the crime types (likeBurglary, Robbery, Theft, etc.) in different location types (like Apartment, Restaurant, Street, etc.). We conduct Varimax rotation of the Eigenvectors of the retained principal components to maximize the communality score for any crime type and show EFA to be helpful in identifying the minimum number of hidden factors to dominantly represent the variations in the number of occurrences of the crime types at the different locations. We extract a mapping of any crime type to a dominating factor (the factor incurring the largest of the factor loadings under Varimax rotation). We observe the crime types mapped to the same dominant factor (different dominating factors) to mostly exhibit stronger positive or strong negative correlation (weak-moderate correlation) amongst themselves with respect to their number of occurrences at different locations.

The number of foreign workers in Japan is increasing year by year. However, there is a problem that the retention rate of foreign workers who find jobs in Japan is low. One of the reasons for the high turnover rate of foreign workers is the difference between the work attitudes of foreign workers and the human resources sought by Japanese companies. It is thought that Japanese companies do not fully understand the differences between the work attitudes of Japanese and foreign workers and are not able to develop foreign workers' human resources appropriately. This study proposes a method for estimating differences in the work attitudes of subjects based on differences in physiological characteristics during video watching. The subjects are asked to watch a video, and psychological change points are detected from their physiological signals during the viewing. In this study, the differences between the work attitudes of the two groups are estimated for Japanese and Vietnamese subjects. Pupil diameter is measured to estimate cognitive change and EDA is measured to estimate emotional change. Change point detection is applied to these physiological characteristics to estimate the scene that caused the change. In addition, the subjects' work attitudes as perceived from the videos are considered based on their responses to the questionnaire. In the experiment, differences in cognitive change indicate that Japanese and Vietnamese have different views on work. It also showed that Japanese and Vietnamese have different attitudes towards work difficulties. Differences in emotional change indicated that Japanese and Vietnamese differ in the factors that cause emotional change. The differences in work attitudes estimated by this method can be used for human resource development of foreign workers in enterprises.

Water quality is a critical concern for sustainable development and public health. This study focuses on the prediction of water quality for different Indian states, considering a variety of parameters. The objective is to develop an accurate prediction model that can assist in effective water management strategies and decision-making processes. To achieve this, an ensemble of machine learning models is employed, leveraging the strengths of multiple algorithms. The dataset consists of water quality measurements and associated parameters collected from various monitoring stations across different states in India. The ensemble model is trained and evaluated using these datasets, and its performance is compared against individual ML models. The results demonstrate that the ensemble approach outperforms individual models, yielding more accurate water quality predictions. The findings of this research can contribute to the development of proactive measures for ensuring water quality, aiding policymakers, environmentalists, and water resource managers in their efforts to protect and sustain this vital resource.
