The content of this paper is a reflection on the possibilities of how students and teachers of CTU in Prague can utilize AI in learning and teaching without violating ethical code. The aim is to find out to what extent university ethical codes and guidelines offer clear and reliable support for the teachers' and students' educational activities. We employed a mixed methods approach in the study, analyzing documents provided by a technical university administration related to ethical rules for using AI in the first phase, and conducting interviews with teachers from 9 faculties in the second phase. Results reveal that the CTU has declared ethical codes defining the activities and areas where students are allowed/partially allowed or not allowed to use AI. The decision to allow the use depends on the scope of each specific activity and area. Framework rules of use and misuse of AI for educational purposes are set out for teachers accordingly. Not all the university teachers are fully familiar with the potentials of AI in the studies while all have concerns of ethical aspects its misuses. Teachers think it is indispensable to define institutional guidelines to manage the ethical issues of AI. They also welcome future training opportunities to effectively implement and manage the use of AI in technical teaching and learning.

The article examines the influence of the agri-food sector on the state of economic security of Ukraine. Definitions of economic security are given and approaches to characterizing its structure are analyzed. The analysis made it possible to determine that most authors include food security in the structure of economic security. The agri-food sector influences economic security, influencing both food security through the formation of the supply of food products in the domestic market and ensuring the formation of income of the population (creating jobs, running one's own business), and due to the formation of gross added value in the agri-food sector. According to the indicators of 2022, almost 11% of the gross added value of Ukraine accounted for agricultural production and the production of food products, beverages and tobacco products (16.1% in 2021). The year 2022 was characterized by a significant decrease in the volume of foreign trade in products of the agro-industrial complex, and there were also changes in its structure. The full-scale war with the Russian federation caused direct and indirect losses in the agri-food sector of Ukraine, which significantly affects food and economic security. In order to determine the prospects for the development of the agricultural sector, the authors found out the risks of production in the agri-food sector.

Artificial intelligence is changing the field of education and forming a new paradigm for the training of a future specialist. High expectations are placed on him despite the existing mistrust and risks with control and possible ethical problems. In the search for new engineering solutions, the use of artificial intelligence demonstrates effective engagement approaches. Today, the future specialist is freed from a large amount of routine work, joins productive organization and building high-quality models of interaction. The work analyzes modern scientific research on the use of artificial intelligence in education. The use of Adobe Sensei, Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI GPT and Siri resources, which are the most popular among users, were analyzed. An overview of innovative inclusions in the training of the future specialist and the formation of new engineering solutions was carried out. The work emphasizes the important role of artificial intelligence as a unique modern tool of a development engineer, a generator of initial ideas and practical proposals. It demonstrates great success in personalized user support and is an integral part of effective professional immersion. Artificial intelligence potentially creates new conditions for educational activities, can become a reliable teacher's assistant and offer the development of educational forecasts for the rapid achievement of set goals. The development of new information processing platforms is associated with artificial intelligence, which is only increasing and will require global structuring.

Currently, Lean and Green practices are followed in almost all the manufacturing Companies. Lean practices focus on reducing and eliminating the wastages generated in the conversion process which include complex procedures, sub-optimal inventory storage, excessive motion, transportation, waiting, overproduction, defects, and underutilized manpower. Green practices focus on minimizing the negative effect on the environment and conserving natural resources in an efficient manner. The main goal of this study is to understand the barriers to implementing and following Lean and Green Practices. For this purpose, the responses of respondents from different manufacturing companies are evaluated. The respondents are qualified engineers and skilled managers from different manufacturing companies. The data is analyzed through the SPSS tool and the ANOVA test is used. This study confirms that the adopting of lean and green manufacturing is essential for the overall improvement of the manufacturing Companies, however, our study shows that many barriers to implementing these practices are quite common. The barriers to implementing Lean practices identified in this study are fear of failure, poor quality of human resources, lack of expert training and education, fund constraints, lack of kaizen culture, and resistance to change. The barriers to implementing green practices identified in this study are lack of environmental awareness, good reuse and recycle mechanisms, mechanisms to reduce pollution due to manufacturing process, eco-friendly raw materials, and sustainable strategies to reduce energy consumption, water usage, emission, and waste generation.

Virtual reality is a rapidly expanding topic, both in terms of technological advances and the domains of its applications - also in promoting pro-environmental behaviours or increasing environmental awareness. This study aims to present the research procedure that could enable a comparison of immersive virtual reality and desktop games concerning promoting waste-sorting behaviour in terms of their effectiveness with the use of cognitive neuroscience techniques. The article provides a contribution to the field of waste management by proposing a methodology for investigating the most effective ways of promoting waste-sorting behaviour. While there are some limitations to this approach, the potential benefits can be significant.

Digital communities are a crucial part of corporate communication they enable networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development. Managing digital communities effectively requires qualified Digital Community Managers (DCM) with digital competences. The necessary competences are not standardized, and there are hardly any company-independent formal qualification programs. This article contributes to the advancement of the professionalization and qualification of DCMs by developing a didactic orientation framework for their competence-oriented qualification. The article follows the Design-Based Research paradigm and combines a systematic literature review and expert interviews. Six (preliminary) design principles for the creation of competence-oriented qualification measures were derived: 1) Creating optimal personal conditions, 2) orienting towards relevant competences, 3) adopting a constructivist and connectivist approach to learning, 4) including problem-solving and action orientation, 5) using simulation methods as digital formats that combine formal and informal learning, and 6) applying a competence-oriented selection and implementation of didactic-methodical design approaches.

Seven years ago (2016), we began integrating Robotics into our Computer Science curriculum. This paper explores the mission, initial goals and objectives, specific choices we made along the way, and why and outcomes. Of course, we were not the first to do so. Our contribution in this paper is to describe a seven-year experience in the hope that others going down this road will benefit, perhaps avoiding some missteps and dead-ends. We offer our answers to many questions that anyone undertaking bootstrapping a new robotics program may have to deal with. At the end of the paper, we discuss a set of lessons learned, including striking the right balance between depth and breadth in syllabus design and material organization, the significance of utilizing physical robots and criteria for selecting a suitable robotics platform, insights into the scope and design of a robotics lab, the necessity of standardizing hardware and software configurations, along with implementation methods, and strategies for preparing students for the steep learning curve.

The paper introduces and discusses the trends identified in terms of the development of the design of mountain tricycles and quadricycles along with selected services related to their operation. There is a considerable number of manufacturers of mountain tricycles (MTC) as well as their design variants currently observed in the market. In functional terms, they differ considerably and for various reasons, including specifics of the disability of a vehicle user. Some design differences may also be attributed to the characteristics of specific trails on which a given cycle will be used. These differences can be technical and operational in nature, including the gear ratios applied, the possibility of transporting MTCs by public collective means, the capacity to carry luggage, as well as accessories, including special-purpose equipment, etc. It should be noted that there are MTC types available on the market which differ significantly in terms of their basic functionality. In the future, manufacturers may step beyond the target segment of the market by extending their product range to elderly people (65+ /60+), who are also affected by a number of limitations and physical barriers to the exploration of mountain. This paper represents an attempt to highlight the trends and vectors of development which can dominate this sphere in the coming years. It should also be added that the market in question is highly peculiar (and still niche), where nearly every cycle is customised on an individual basis. The authors have pointed out that the development of the market of solutions dedicated to people with disabilities is associated with the fact that manufacturers open up to other market segments at the same time.

Entrepreneurship plays a very influential role in the economic growth of a country. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) including microenterprises have contributed a significant role in fostering growth, creating wealth and create jobs. These have been integral to Malaysia's economic transformation process. The Malaysia government targets SMEs to contribute 50% to gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030 from current 37.4% (2021) and aspiration to become a high-income nation. Hence, more entrepreneurship policies, initiatives and drivers have been prepared to ensure the target is achieved, including cultivating more young entrepreneurs through higher learning institutions. The aim of this paper is to identify the entrepreneurship skills to enhance the entrepreneurship aspect of the engineering curriculum. The findings indicated that key skills such as critical thinking, innovative or creativity, financial knowledge, identifying opportunities, and new business start-up planning skills are the most relevant and shows that these are the skills most needed by the mechanical engineering graduates.
