The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) recognizes as "food waste" the scraps of products intended for human nutrition, the origin of which lies in the processes involved in its generation (production, post-harvest, and processing). The Ecuadorian government addresses this global problem but does not establish guidelines to find practical solutions. In the city of Cuenca, information was collected through semi-structured surveys of 78 producers from the "Chaguarchimbana" market and 62 from the "Cristo Rey" market. The information from each agroecological fair collected is sized by one-way analysis of variance using SPSS statistical software. The significance level was determined at p < p 0.05, the probability of success/failure (p/q = 50%). The significant differences between samples were analyzed using Tukey's Honesty Significant Different (HSD). The ten least traded products identified were tomato, purple cabbage, and lettuce;however, the waste perceived by the producers was the same only in tomato, purple cabbage, pumpkin, and beetroot, demonstrating that even though there is a different volume of sowing and marketing and that they are geographically distant, the problem is the same in the rural parishes of the canton Cuenca. The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for decision-making by public and private entities.

In the present study, we investigate the effect on student performance of using a project-based learning approach combined with a robotic application. From the current intervention, we expect positive results from combining Project-Based Learning with focused activities and physical programming through BBC Micro: bit in implementing the specific design and producing solutions to future problems. From the processing of the data, a slight improvement was observed in the performance of 5th-grade students at a conceptual level. In addition, it emerged that in a similar approach, children's prior knowledge should be considered, and a combination of physical programming tools should be tested to increase performance improvement.

According to several market research reports, Moodle is the most widely used Learning Management System (LMS) in the world, but how intuitive is it for teachers? Does it make teachers' experience easier or is it a burden for them? Does it help teachers reach the expected learning outcomes? In line with our experience, teachers find barriers when designing a course in the LMS and, hence, students face difficulties affecting their learning process. Even more, considering that users (both teachers and students) have different needs and levels of expertise with this tool. The pandemic, and the consequent forced migration to distance learning scenarios, made these difficulties even more visible and the need for solutions much more urgent. This article will explain how to improve teachers' experiences using Moodle by applying User Experience (UX) methodologies such as quantitative and qualitative research, user journey mapping, and heuristic evaluation. Inclusive and accessible design principles were applied in this work to consider a wide variety of users. The research methods used, the results obtained, and the guidelines for improving the quality and effectiveness of Moodle-based courses will be explained throughout this article.

For companies, it became quite common to offer their customers the whole package of product-service systems instead of just a product by itself. Those systems consist of the product and some additional kind of digital feature or service that supports the product throughout its lifecycle. This paper aims to investigate digital product services for the case of a B2B company. After determining what lies behind such terms as servitization or product-service system, the possibilities that can arise from those services, both for the company and for their customer, are shown. To investigate those possibilities, a benchmark study was conducted, determining the services of companies that are within the branch, cross-industrial, and also in the B2C field. Later on, holding workshops with company employees resulted in personas and user stories to ensure a good fit of the selected services to the specific company. Overall, this paper's goal is to present a definition for the relevant terms, possibilities of such services, and a research structure to help companies achieve such outcomes.

To ensure optimal clinical learning environments for students in the medical and allied health professions, it is essential to establish robust quality processes. Within the HEALINT4ALL ERASMUS + project an evidence-based protocol to assess the quality of placements for Medicine and Allied Health Professions (AHPs) in clinical environments created. While the existence of a protocol itself is useful, its application can be proved difficult, as relevant forms and audit processes should be established. Audit of clinical placements is time demanding process in an already busy healthcare setting, while exchange of audits between higher education institutions (HEI) and HEI and clinical placements may be lengthy due to internal forms and processes. Thus, a digital interactive platform for European and national placements audit following a user-centered design created. Stakeholders' workshops and an iterative evaluation process ensured the usability and acceptability of the platform, complemented by Nielsen's heuristic evaluation within a group of experts in education technology or quality assurance of placement. The proposed platform supports a globally prepared medical and AHPs international workforce able to transfer skills and practice and offer best interventions to enhance patient treatment, by providing a more effective process and faster appraisal of clinical environments.

Material didactic means (technical means and teaching aids) are means of a material nature and are an important component of education and a means of achieving the goals of the educational process and are part of Engineering Pedagogy. They serve as a means to achieve educational goals. They are part of didactic resources. A technical means as a material means that creates the conditions for the delivery of the prescribed curriculum to students. He is only an intermediary who performs a secondary function in relation to the content of education. Didactic aids are of great importance in preparatory subjects for professional studies, which include mathematics, physics, technology, chemistry and etc. These subjects are preparatory subjects for professional subjects such as Parts of machines, Engineering technology, Science of materials and others. In our research, we focused on the content of the processed innovative professional text for the subject of engineering technology in dual technical education as an effective support for teachers. The result is the evaluation of the processed professional text for the subject mechanical technology through the Close test. The results showed that the text is readable and manageable for the specified group of students.

This paper introduces an automatic scoring system based on ChatGPT for teachers in online laboratories. Students used to be requested to complete experimental reports after the experiments in whether conventional laboratories or online laboratories. However, it is repetitive and tiring work for teachers to mark dozens or even hundreds experimental reports. Moreover, evaluations of students experiment performance are based on teachers' teaching experience and sometimes are influenced by more subjective factors, so grades marked maybe not objective and fair. Take disadvantages of manual evaluations above into consideration, this paper proposes an automatic scoring system based on ChatGPT where each student's score is assessed automatically based on his experiment steps and answers to questions in online laboratories. This system is embedded into the Networked Control System Laboratory (NCSLab) and applied into grade evaluations of the Automatic Control Theory experiment course in Wuhan University. Through testing and validation, the system performs the high exactitude and reliability.

Sustainability of cultural heritage is pivotal for any society to transfer the wisdom, knowledge, customs, and traditions to the next generation. In most countries oral tradition including folk tales, folk songs and ballads appear to fade away due to the advancement of technology and shift of interest, thus creating a void in the values and one's own heritage to pass down to the future generations. Folklore of a community preserves the oral traditions of yesteryears giving insights into linguistic and cultural aspects. This paper presents the results of a hybrid mode adopted virtually and onsite on a typological study of folktales of more than 20 countries across the world on analogue and digital teaching approaches. The project commenced virtually and concluded in hybrid mode after a period of intensive research from May to September 2022 aimed to focus on socio-cultural sustainability, tracing back to the oral traditions that made a society adhere to different norms and traditions. The significance of folk tales as cultural heritage, their common and unique features across cultures and how awareness could be created for the next generations through a blended approach were highlighted during outcomes of the study.

Early school education has a very important role in the growth of young children. They get fundamental skills at this level of education, basic reading, and writing as the basis for their further development. Therefore, countries launch various types of programs supporting this process. This process is very complicated because it is influenced by many factors which exceed the educational obligations at the school level, including the very important role of state action. The success or failure of this process will depend on the State's actions in this regard. In the article, the authors attempt to use the opportunities offered by multi-criteria methods to analyze the level of development of Early School Education in Poland related to selected countries of the European Union.
