This study investigates the impact of e-service quality (ESQ) on social media sharing intention (SMSI), using customer perceived value (CPV) as a mediation. The survey method with a questionnaire via Google form was utilized in this study to collect data. In this study, the sample amounted to 191 respondents who were selected using convenience sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The study's findings suggest that there is a substantial association between e-service quality and social media sharing intention, with customer perceived value acting as a mediator between them. This research is expected to be useful in the development of knowledge in the academic field and can be used as a reference source for further research related to CPV in e-retail. This research offers proof for every aspect of the concept that has been put forward. The contents of this article discuss at length the discussion and limitations of the scope of ESQ, CPV, and their impact on SMSI.

A highly secure and reliable radio communication protocol has been desired for space launch vehicles (rockets), to protect their critical flight control uplink and downlink. We have proposed a new protocol that guarantees information theoretic security, which cannot be broken even if an attacker has unlimited computing power, unlike computational security which is used in most existing cryptographic systems. The most critical part at the protocol design is to establish a reliable key synchronization between rocket and ground station, and the proposed protocol uses GNSS time information for that purpose. We have given a formal proof that the proposed protocol is robust to replay attack and H/W failures in space flight environment such as soft errors, under some timing conditions on packet propagation delay and processing latency are satisfied. In this paper, we thoroughly investigate the actual radio communication systems on our sounding rocket and satellite launcher, and confirm that the timing conditions are met during all flight phase, i.e., the robustness of their systems is guaranteed theoretically.

This paper presents a novel approach to epidemic surveillance, leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) for effective interpretation of unstructured big data sources like the popular ProMED and WHO Disease Outbreak News. We explore several LLMs, evaluating their capabilities in extracting valuable epidemic information. We further enhance the capabilities of the LLMs using in-context learning and test the performance of an ensemble model incorporating multiple open-source LLMs. The findings indicate that LLMs can significantly enhance the accuracy and timeliness of epidemic modelling and forecasting, offering a promising tool for managing future pandemic events

The convergence of information technology with production technology, coupled with the escalating intricacy of production processes and products, is leading to new demands on the education of future engineers in mechanical engineering and related disciplines. New job profiles are arising and require interdisciplinary cooperation in the fields of information technology and the Internet of Things, machine learning and domain knowledge in order to enable data-based decisions for monitoring and improving products and processes in industrial production. The core of competence building has a strong focus on applying theoretical knowledge and information in order to make it tangible and thus enable people to learn. The contribution shows the conception and implementation of transnationally connected cyber-physical brewing labs, which were set up as learning factories for students and industry partners at TU Dortmund University and the University of Technology Sydney. The focus is on Industry 4.0 technologies, such as shared data space, condition monitoring of machines and assets in the Internet of Things, and the application of machine learning for product and process optimization. This article discusses the derivation of competence profiles, roles and the development of targeted theoretical and practical learning modules. It provides an overview of the use in various formats at both sites. The evolution of the brewing labs in existing research activities is also discussed. Finally, an outlook on future activities is given.

Large deep learning models have shown great potential for delivering exceptional results in various applications. However, the training process can be incredibly challenging due to the models' vast parameter sizes, often consisting of hundreds of billions of parameters. Common distributed training methods, such as data parallelism, tensor parallelism, and pipeline parallelism, demand significant data communication throughout the process, leading to prolonged wait times for some machines in physically distant distributed systems. To address this issue, we propose a novel solution called Hulk, which utilizes a modified graph neural network to optimize distributed computing systems. Hulk not only optimizes data communication efficiency between different countries or even different regions within the same city, but also provides optimal distributed deployment of models in parallel. For example, it can place certain layers on a machine in a specific region or pass specific parameters of a model to a machine in a particular location. By using Hulk in experiments, we were able to improve the time efficiency of training large deep learning models on distributed systems by more than 20%. Diabetes can lead to a number of eye disorders, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy, which can be defined as damage to the retinal blood vessels of the eye. If these damaged vessels remain untreated, this may result in decreased flow of blood, irritation, and eventually irreversible vision loss. We can stop vision loss and prevent the development of diabetic retinopathy with timely treatment. The Computer-Aided Detection technique assists ophthalmologists in the detection of ophthalmologic diseases by automatically analyzing retinal fundus images. Deep learning algorithms have performed exceptionally well in various computer vision applications, giving them a distinct advantage over traditional approaches. Therefore, continuous discussion and evaluation of the connected techniques are necessary. In this paper, the pretrained convolutional neural network, MobileNet is used to detect DR in retinal fundus images. The Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society 2019 Blindness Detection (APTOS-2019 BD) dataset, which was collected by India's Arvind Hospital, was utilized in this study. To assess the efficacy of the model, the APTOS-2019 BD dataset is split into two sections, 80% of which are used for training the proposed model and 20% for testing it to assess the model's efficacy. The effectiveness of the suggested technique is evaluated based on a number of factors, including accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and specificity.

In Zambia's rapidly evolving higher education landscape, efficient financial transaction management plays a crucial role in the success of these institutions. Higher educational institutions, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our society, have embraced digital transformation. This study presents the processes for paying student fees in higher institutions of learning in Zambia are inefficient, inconvenient, and time-consuming. Traditional methods, like cash or checks, are still common for student fee payments in higher educational institutions. The growing student population has resulted in long queues and overcrowding in financial institutions and universities, causing inconvenience. This study aimed to design and implement a secure payment gateway system specifically tailored for higher institutions of learning in Zambia. The primary objective of this system is to seamlessly integrate with university applications and various payment service providers, facilitating a diverse range of payment methods through microservices using web services to streamline and automate payment processes, addressing challenges encountered by both students and institutions, such as student's in-person visits to banks for payments. The gateway aims to enhance the overall payment experience and leading to increased efficiency. The study utilized a closed-ended questionnaire administered by the researcher. The primary data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS and Excel. Through a comprehensive literature review and questionnaire surveys, this study demonstrates that the implementation of this payment gateway substantially reduces the necessity for manual intervention, allowing administrative personnel to allocate their time more strategically. Prioritizing security measures to safeguard system integrity and protect data.

This research examines the possibilities of project reporting and broadcasting to improve situational awareness and experiential learning in academic settings. Drawing inspiration from the media industry's use of news reporting to create general situation awareness, this work initially aimed to improve the situation awareness of project teams in Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) projects. However, our findings revealed an additional positive impact on experiential learning. Complex design and AEC projects often deviate from planned activities and timelines due to intricate task interdependencies and stake-holder influences. Effective project information management is crucial in such contexts. This work presents the results of two pilot studies conducted in an academic setting to assess the impact of regular project progress updates provided by a Situation Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Team (SMART) through broadcasts. The Qualitative findings of the study indicate multiple benefits of broadcasting and reporting. Firstly, recipients of project progress updates reported enhanced situational awareness, providing them with an improved understanding of project complexities. The video broadcast offered flexibility for the users to listen to the status of the renovation project in their comfort, allowing them to listen to a narrative instead of making efforts to read and find information. Secondly, participants in SMART reported increased attention to project details, leading to improved practical knowledge in design and project management. Lastly, the research highlighted that students often overlook experiential learning opportunities in their surroundings due to a lack of access to relevant details. SMART-led reporting and broadcasting capitalize on these missed opportunities by using familiar and desirable media formats, such as video reporting, to engage students and professionals alike. Following the initial introduction of fuzzy sets by Zadeh (1965), extensions of regular fuzzy sets have been documented in the literature. Among these expansions are type-2 fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, image fuzzy sets, and neutrosophic sets. One issue with standard fuzzy set extensions is that they require experts to provide decimal values for an element's membership, non-membership, and indecision degrees, which might be difficult to ascertain. Assigning membership degrees for three or more digits will make this more challenging. Rather, it will be simpler to ascertain the degrees of membership, non-membership, and indecision using proportional relations between the degrees of parameters of a fuzzy set extension. We introduce the basic operations of proportional intuitionistic fuzzy sets, proportional Pythagorean fuzzy sets, proportional picture fuzzy sets, proportional spherical fuzzy sets, and proportional neutrosophic sets.

The depletion of living marine resources has emerged as a critical concern, necessitating the implementation of robust monitoring systems. This paper high lights the current state of surveillance systems, focusing on existing technologies such as Vessel Monitoring systems (VMS) and Electronic Monitoring systems (EMS). It further examines the potential of integrating EMS with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to strengthen the efficacy of resource management and ensure sustainable utilization of marine ecosystems. Additionally, this study presents a comprehensive analysis of the state of the art in AI methods applied in the field, especially for capture detection and fish identification, thereby providing insights into the most effective models for sustainable marine resource management.
