The exploration and development of global oil and gas resources are extending into deep strata reaching depths of 10,000 m, where wellbore temperatures during drilling processes can exceed 220 degrees C. It is imperative to implement temperature control measures for circulating fluids in the wellbore to prevent failure or damage to the drilling equipment due to excessively high operational temperatures. To achieve this temperature control, numerical simulations are necessary to assess the temperature distribution and heat exchange within the wellbore and tubing systems of these ultra-deep wells, thereby guiding the proper management of wellbore fluid temperatures. Unlike conventional wellbore temperature models, ultra-deep wells with extended depths and complex tubing structures are highly sensitive to minor errors, which can significantly impact the thermodynamic parameters of the wellbore. This paper establishes a "thermal-fluid-solid" multi-medium coupled wellbore thermodynamic model, taking into account factors such as varying geothermal gradients, multiple heat sources within the wellbore, and complex tubing dimensions. The model is solved using a successive over-relaxation iterative method after dividing the wellbore into dynamically complex, non-uniform grids, providing a detailed analysis of the temperature distribution and heat flux under various influencing factors. The results indicate that while the size and structure of the drill string have minor effects on temperature distribution, the geothermal gradient, thermal properties of the drilling fluid, and the thermal conductivity of the drill string system significantly influence the wellbore temperature distribution. Notably, the geothermal gradient largely determines the trend in temperature distribution changes, while the thermal properties of the drilling fluid play a crucial role in the numerical values of wellbore temperatures.

Nowadays, service robots are more and more often used by the medical facilities in the disinfection process. Medical disinfection robots use different disinfection methods, each one with its own advantages and disadvantages, like ultraviolet radiation, disinfectant sprays, hydrogen peroxide or chlorine compounds in order to perform the disinfection of surfaces, air and water. This paper presents the main disinfection methods used by current disinfection robots and how each one of these is more or less effective against different bacteria and viruses.

In today's society, with the continuous increase in various production activities and residential electricity consumption, the load pressure on the power system is increasing. Therefore, an accurate forecast of the power load can improve the economic cost, safety, and maintainability of the power generation industry. The focus of the research on the load forecasting of the power system is the collection of forecast data and the establishment of accurate forecasting models. At present, various forecasting methods proposed at home and abroad have different characteristics. This paper focuses on the fluctuation characteristics of electricity consumption in different industries and extracts key influencing factors. Then, it uses these extracted influencing factors and historical electricity consumption data to train and predict the Support Vector Regression models, and compares the prediction effects. The validation data set in this paper uses the electricity consumption of various industries in Shenyang. This research contributes to environmental and low-carbon initiatives by accurately predicting power loads, optimizing energy usage, promoting renewable energy development, and facilitating the establishment of intelligent energy systems.

Amidst the aggravation of the worldwide environmental crisis driven by persistent climate change, there is an escalating urgency to find environmentally sustainable solutions for contemporary challenges. A significant contributor to climate change is the elevation in atmospheric pollutant concentrations resulting from the emissions of conventional fuel combustion in internal combustion engines. Consequently, the imperative to create fuels to meet environmental requirements has led to the development and implementation of technologies dedicated to the production of alternative fuels. This article offers a comprehensive overview of the primary alternative fuels suitable for internal combustion engines, along with an exploration of the benefits associated with their utilization.

The quality of regeneration using polymer masses of splineways was assessed based on the analysis of the properties of polymer compounds used as regeneration masses. Three different polymer compounds consisting of epoxy resin and curing agents were used to the tests. Each of the cured polymer compounds was tested for surface roughness - (i) the mass located in the filled splineways and compressive test - (ii) a cured cylindrical sample of the polymer mass. After the curing process, the regenerative masses located in the splineways (i) were also subjected to finishing processing by milling. Additionally, the compressive strength was determined for the polymer masses, taking into account three seasoning conditions: (i) 1 week at a temperature of 27 +/- 2 degrees C and humidity of 20 +/- 1%, (ii) 4 weeks at a temperature of 80 degrees C and a humidity of 95% and (iii) 6 weeks at 80 degrees C and 95% humidity. Surface roughness parameters were measured using a contact profilometer. Samples of cured polymer mass were subjected to strength tests on a Zwick/Roell 150 testing machine, in accordance with the ISO 604 standard, determining compressive strength. Based on the results, it was noticed that the type of regenerative mass affects the quality of the regenerated surface and compressive strength, and the influence of seasoning conditions on this strength is also significant, depending on the type of polymer mass.

Electric submersible pumps (ESP) often have a wide range of abnormal data when operating under complex conditions, which brings disaster to oilfield production analysis and data mining. In this paper, we propose a vector normalization method based on physical significance constraint from the difficulty of high variability of data distribution of each parameter of ESP The redistributed features fix the lower limit of parameters such as leakage current at -1, which can reflect the equipment significance of the ESP. In order to improve the multimodal temporal feature extraction capability, an improved model of ESP CNN AutoEncoder is proposed. The model uses one dimensional convolution for forward encoding and inverse decoding, and combines reconstruction errors at different scales to dynamically adjust the tolerance of anomaly detection to capture a higher adaptive threshold window. The system is validated on real-time databases in two oil fields and achieved successful application results. Error reconstruction and sensitivity analysis are performed for detection performance to determine tolerance metrics that can dynamically meet different oilfield requirements. In comparison with Isolation Forest model, significant advantages are achieved in the ESP start-up anomalies. Finally, an ESP anomaly detection system with self-learning capability is realized.

Pipe sticking significantly increases drilling costs. In directional wells, the irregular trajectory of the wellbore, combined with gravitational forces, increased the friction between the drill string and wellbore wall which elevates the risk of pipe sticking. By considering the drill string's flexibility, this study uses a soft-string model to calculate the rotational friction coefficient in build and hold segments of directional wells. The calculations utilize real-time data, including surface well logging data such as weight on bit and rotary table torque, along with near-bit measurements like bit torque. An unsupervised learning neural network with dual autoencoders (USAD) is employed to simultaneously detect anomalies of friction coefficients in the build and hold sections of the well, obtained through inversion. Based on the detection results, this model provides early warnings for potential pipe sticking incidents and identifies the specific sections at risk. The USAD model was trained using a dataset comprising data from 16 wells. It accurately identified 84% of the 541 instances of increased friction coefficient anomalies contained in the dataset. Historical well analyses show that this method detects changes in drill string friction earlier than surface manual detection. It provides early warnings for pipe sticking and identifies high-risk sections. This approach leverages the potential of real-time drilling data and introduces a novel strategy for detecting and predicting pipe sticking.

Radio frequency (RF) heating is a novel thermal extraction method in the development of coal underground in-situ transformation. In the heating process, coal seam is usually in the state of gas-water coexistence. To explore the impact of moisture content on RF heating of coal seams, this study carried out a series of experiments based on the underground RF heating experimental system. The experimental results show that as the moisture content increases, the heating rate of the coal seam first increases and then decreases. This is because the presence of moisture leads to an increase in the effective relative dielectric constant and effective specific heat capacity within the coal seam. Increasing the moisture content of coal seam in a moderate range can effectively improve the energy absorption and heat exchange efficiency of coal seam. However, since the specific heat capacity of water is quite large, heating the same volume of coal sample will require more heat energy, so the heating rate will decrease accordingly. Moreover, coal seams with high moisture content will produce more water vapor during RF heating, which may interfere with the pyrolysis and gasification reactions of coal seams. Therefore, reasonable control of the moisture content of the coal seam is crucial in coal seam RF heating technology. This study not only reveals the mechanism of the influence of moisture content on the RF heating effect of coal seams but also provides theoretical support and practical guidance for optimizing the radio frequency heating process.

Paraphrasing, the art of rephrasing text while retaining its original meaning, lies at the core of natural language understanding and generation. With the rise of demand for more domain-specialized models, high-quality data is more valued than ever;this includes paraphrasing. ParaFusion-Extend (PFE) is a large-scale dataset driven by Large Language Models incorporating lexical and phrasal knowledge. The dataset is curated to contain high-quality diverse paraphrase pairs and also separate knowledge bases that could be used for research work and data augmentation models. We show that PFE offers around at least a 30% increase in syntactic and lexical diversity compared to the original data sources that are commonly used. We demonstrate the effectiveness of PFE on several downstream tasks such as few-shot learning and training on sentence embeddings. We utilize a gold-standard evaluation scheme, which is further strengthened by human evaluation that shows the potential of PFE in advancing paraphrase generation.
