Technology of formation of multipurpose coatings by a method of microplasma oxidation is developed. Advantages compared to other methods of a coating deposition are shown. Advantages and capabilities of microplasma oxidation are given. Basic characteristics of coatings on aluminum alloys are: adhesion (ges 3500 kg / sm 2 ), microhardness (ges 2500 kg / mm 2 ), a breakdown voltage (les 2000 V). This technology is applicable in the following areas: mechanical engineering, plane-and ship- building, fuel and power generation industry, chemical and food industries, and medical equipment.

The ISA 95 Enterprise-Control System Integration Standard defines a way to integrate Business Systems with MES systems, and it defines the activities included in a MES system. A Master Thesis work performed at Lund University will be presented, concerning a MES implementation at a major Swedish company. The current situation was first depicted in order to see what functionalities were already covered by existing software products. This was done by comparing the current situation with the ISA 95 MES activities. The work also consisted in selecting the most suitable production area for the MES implementation. The selection was done according to four different criterias regarding products, equipments, economics and risks. Metrics were also developed in order to be able to evaluate the new system.

In this paper, the dependence of photoluminescence quenching on ion energy losses by ion irradiation is investigated. It is found that for Si nanocrystals, the quenching rate of photoluminescence under ion irradiation strongly depends on the energy loss rate of ions. It was also found that light ions may be considered more effective for PL quenching than heavy ions for the reason that the displacements introduced by heavy ions from defect complexes, which are not centers of non-radiative recombination.

Voltage differences in earthing systems, both within and between equipotential zones, can be problematic for communications and control systems. Surges from atmospheric conditions, high voltage switching operations, etc., can damage equipment. This is especially true if the installation, and in particular the earthing provisions affecting both power wiring systems, and communications and control cabling systems, are not considered at the design stage. The concept of the "Ground Window" is a useful tool for avoiding such issues. In addition, the concept has a place in analysing existing installations exhibiting behaviour where "earthing problems" are suspected. The concept of the "Ground Window" is introduced, along with a description of the importance of the elements of "Isolated Ground Zone" and "Single Point Ground". Case studies are then used to illustrate how the concept appears within what we are probably all familiar with as good practice design and installation methods.

The article is devoted to development of the new ultrasonic device for automobile injectors cleaning. On the basis of theoretical and experimental researches it is positioned, that efficiency of clearing can be increased due to increase of ultrasonic radiation cleaning and realization of the new modes based on change of ultrasonic influence intensity in time under various laws. For practical realization of the offered decisions the device of new generation "Altai" with system of open injectors is created.
