Based on 4Cs and filtered by industry experts, 16 consumer decision indicators of casual women's wear online retail channel were obtained. The indicator influence on 244 consumers was collected by questionnaires and indicators were classified to five factors (Experience, Safety, Consumption, Display, Aftermarket) by the exploratory factor analysis (EFA), which revised by the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The research hypotheses were developed by using structural equation modeling (SEM), and proved that the performance of Display and Safety would have positive effect on the consumer judgments on Experience and Consumption while Experience also has positive effect on Aftermarket.

In this paper we consider the additive multi-attribute utility model in a group decision-making context, accounting for vagueness in the alternative performances by means of fuzzy numbers and imprecision concerning DM preferences by means of ordinal information. Monte Carlo simulation techniques are used to compute a fuzzy dominance matrix, and a fuzzy dominance measuring method is then used to derive an individual ranking of alternatives for each DM. Finally, the rankings from the different DMs are aggregated taking into account their relative importance to reach a consensus ranking.

3D measurement of cylindrical metallic object is based on active laser triangulation techniques. The measurement performances notably depend on the accuracy of the laser stripe extraction. It consists in determining the coordinates of pixels that correspond to the centre of the line representing the laser for each column of the image. In this paper, we focus on laser stripe images that are corrupted by speckle noise due to the rough surface of metallic objects. Our main contribution consists in developing a column-wise processing method that can be implemented on a CPU for real-time industrial application. Finally, thanks to experiments, we compare the laser stripe accuracy provided by the proposed methods that are applied to images corrupted by speckle noise.

This paper presents an algorithm to find the linear-quadratic regulator weights so that the given response specifications of dynamic systems can be fulfilled. Quadratic optimal control approach is often used when expenditure of energy is a concern of the control design. It balances between the acceptable response and the amount of control energy required. Nevertheless, it lacks of a strategy that links its weights to the desirable response specifications. This work deals with that problem using a genetic algorithm to determine such weights. In order to confirm the validity of the proposed algorithm, simulations are carried out for the ball and beam system. The results showed the efficiency of the method.

Recommender Systems (RSs) are tools for suggesting items that match the preferences and interests for a target user. These systems require the elicitation of customers preferences, which is not always precise because of external factors such as human errors, uncertainty, or vagueness proper of human beings. In RSs, such a problem is known as natural noise (NN) and can bias negatively the recommendations, leading to poor user's experience. The NN management has been addressed in previous works using crisp approaches. This contribution is devoted to a new fuzzy method for managing the uncertainty of NN in a exible and adaptable way for improving recommendations. Decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) is a commonly used method for Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). The method was primarily developed to analyze real world problems using real valued crisp data. However, in practice, it is often hard to acquire precise information and that is why the values are increasingly expressed as fuzzy sets or fuzzy numbers. A considerable number of studies have been devoted to the fuzzy extension of the DEMATEL method, but none provided the hesitant fuzzy extensions, which proves to be useful for the solution of various real world problems especially in a group decision making environment. This paper addresses this issue and proposes an interval-valued hesitant fuzzy approach to DEMATEL and provides an illustrative example.

With the rapid development of E-commerce, a growing number of people tend to purchase garment products online. Therefore, the fitting evaluation of virtual try-on plays an important role in the clothing industry. In this paper, we proposed a method to evaluate the fitting based on Bayesian Discriminant. The inputs of the proposed model are clothing pressures and the outputs are two garment fitting condition: fit or unfit. For constructing the proposed model, two clothing pressure databases were collected, one is fit databases and the other is unfit database. And then the two databases were used for model training and testing. Finally, a fitting prediction model was developed. We only input a new sample's clothing pressures;the fit condition will be evaluated by the proposed model. The results of test show that the prediction accuracy of back substitution of the proposed model reaches to 100% and the prediction accuracy of new samples reaches to 87.5%.

A notion of a closure theory of a powerset theory in a ground category is introduced as a generalization of a topological theory of a powerset theory. Using examples of powerset theories in the category Set of sets and in the category of sets with similarity relations, it is proved that these theories can be also used as ground theories for closure theories of powerset theories in these two categories of fuzzy sets. Moreover, it is proved that all these closure theories of powerset theories are topological constructs.
