摘      要：The BioBiteCorrector Fixation of the appliance is managed by a screw directly fixed on the steel archwires in the upper respectively in the lower jaw. The BBC does not necessarily need bands. The archwires must have a minimum size of 0,017×0,025. Ball joints connect fixation elements and the body of the BBC. They allow easy adjustment of the appliance as well as lateral movements. At the same time they reduce loading and anchorage by bands becomes obsolete. However, band anchored and removable appliances can be produced with the BioBiteCorrector
