Effect of Magnesium Methacrylate on Properties of Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber at High Temperature

摘      要:Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) is widely used in the field of oil drilling due to its high temperature and oil resistance, but its resistance to thermal oxygen aging and drilling fluid resistance at high temperature needs to be improved. Five kinds of rubber formulations were prepared by adding different amounts of magnesium methacrylate(MgMA) into the hydrogenated nitrile rubber. According to the analysis of mechanical properties, the formula with 8 portions of MgMA has excellent comprehensive properties and the best comprehensive anti-aging properties after thermal oxygen aging and drilling fluid immersion. This work provides data support and theoretical guidance for the optimization of hydrogenated NBR. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
