摘      要:We use complex variable methods to study the two-dimensional thermoelectric and thermoelastic problems associated with a nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric parabolic inhomogeneity embedded in an infinite nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric matrix subjected to uniform remote electric current density and uniform remote energy flux. Exact closed-form solutions to the problems are derived primarily with the aid of an identity established on the parabolic interface. Our analysis indicates that the electrically and thermally induced stresses exhibit quadratic distributions inside the parabolic inhomogeneity.
