摘      要:Combining the efficient barrier and self-repairing effects into 2D lamellar materials has been an emerging tactic for developing prominent anti-corrosion coatings. Herein, a cerium/2-methylimidazole metal-organic framework (Ce-MOF) was grown in-situ on the surface of ultrathin α-ZrP nanosheets with favorable dispersibility. The parallel arrangement of α-ZrP-based nanosheets among the epoxy polymer matrix were driven by shear force from blade-coating technology. In the current research on α-ZrP-based composite anti-corrosive coatings, the prepared coating has demonstrated the strongest physical barrier and optimal self-repairing ability, which may pave a feasible route to design smart protective coatings for various corrosion types such as filiform corrosion. © 2023, The Authors.
