摘      要:A new type of axial flux interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (AFIPMSM) is introduced in the study, and then multi-object optimisation design about electromagnetic power and efficiency is fulfilled. First of all, a new type of AFIPMSM is designed by adding main pole, leakage pole and flux barrier. Equivalent magnetic circuit model is established. Magnetic reluctances and flux corresponding to the different magnetic circuit branches are calculated. Finally, a multi-criteria optimisation process is applied to determine a design optimum. The design multi-object function introduced in this study is to maximise the output power and to maximise efficiency. A single variable considered in calculating the objective functions is the ratio of outer-to-inner diameter. In order to satisfy the specific application requirements, weight coefficient is adopted to reflect the contribution of the different objective function to total objective function.
