摘 要:In order to investigate the seismic behavior of cold-formed steel stud wall, 10 full scale specimens are tested under low-cycle lateral loading. Based on the tests, the main failure modes and the main failure processes of these walls are studied. The seismic performance of these walls such as hysteresis curves, skeleton curves, bearing capacity, ductility and energy dissipation is discussed. Then, a deteriorated quadralinear restoring force model of cold-formed steel stud wall is put forward based on hysteresis curves obtained from regressive analysis experiment. The restoring force model considers some influencing facts such as stiffness degradation, slipping and pinching effect etc. The main results show that: sheathings influence wall s shear resistance greatly. When the specimen is under vertical and horizontal load, stiffness, bearing capacity and displacement ductility factor of wall increase, but its energy coefficient decreases a little. With the increase of stud dimension and the decrease of stud space, the wall s stiffness and bearing capacity increase, but the wall s ductility factor and energy coefficient decrease.
