摘 要:Based on the working principle, the internal configuration, and the valve system behavior of the shock absorber (SA), a mathematical model for the stroke dependent SA was built using the software ADAMS/Hydraulics. The damping force of the stroke dependent SA depends on not only the retative movement velocity, but also its displacement. In this model, the relationship between the SA dynamic behavior and its internal configuration was established by the parameters describing the valve system behavior. The calculated results agree well with the test data. The suggested model can be used to study the effects of construction parameters and dynamic behavior of the SA on the vehicle performance.
