摘      要:A vehicle longitudinal dynamics model including a vehicle emission submodel was established by the quantitative analysis of the effects of the vehicle cruise control on reducing the fuel consumption and emission pollutants, and a new adaptive fuzzy PID control algorithm of vehicle cruise control was suggested based on the traditional cruise fuzzy controller. With these two control algorithms, the vehicle fuel consumption and exhaust emissions of CO, HC, and NOx were compared under the typical cruise conditions. Therefore, the effects of the vehicle cruise control system on the vehicle emissions can be analyzed quantitatively instead of qualitatively, and a new evaluation method was provided to the optimization of the vehicle cruise control algorithm.
