摘      要:This new paper formulates our previous contributions on model referencecontrol and direct data driven control and proposes new aspects for latter studying. Specif-ically, consider one closed loop system with unknown plant and unknown controller si-multaneously, our mission is to design an optimal controller, while achieving the perfecttracking and disturbance rejection. Two different control strategies are applied to designthis unknown controller, i.e., classical model reference control and direct data driven con-trol, respectively. For classical model reference control, the detailed process and statisticalanalysis are given with other two subjects, for example, condition as one convex optimiza-tion problem and regularization. On the other hand, for direct data driven control, thecontroller design process and its statistical property are also reviewed, while introducingadaptive idea to be adaptive direct data control with one explicit recursive form. Finally,above two different control strategies are applied into aircraft flight system to guaranteeaircraft fly along the desired trajectory.
