摘      要:In order to improve the tracking capability of resident space objects (RSOs), many countries carried out the researches about space based surveillance system (SBSS), which has the advantage of on-orbit, wide field of view and all-weather, and the RSOs can be surveyed, tracked and measured continuous compared to ground-based system. This paper first develops the evaluation figures for SBSS and a new method called the rapid method for satellite constellation performance calculation by the Hermite interpolation technique to reduce the computing complication and time. And then, the constellation configuration optimization models to observe GEO regime and LEO regime concerning SBSS are established with optimization objective and restriction condition to support trade-off decision. Combining ground surveillance stations in China and space-based surveillance platforms adopted HEO, SSO, SubGEO as mission orbits, analyse the precision of combined RSO orbit determination based on space/ground based tracking telemetry and command technology for RSOs in different regions. © 2015 Beijing Institute of Technology.
