摘      要：In many communities the proposal to add minute quantities of a fluoride to the water supply as a means of reducing the amount of tooth decay in the population has provoked bitter controversy. Here is a study that inquires into the attitudes and motivations of the people who vote against fluoridation in the referenda which have been held on the issue.
