摘      要：Rather than attempting to treat cancel, after it has developed-and often metastasized-a more promising alternative is to direct therapy at the precancerous cell. For cancers linked to smoking, especially breast cancer and cancers of the head and neck, retinoids and tamoxifen have proven their ability to interrupt the carcinogenic process. However,widespread adoption wilt require further refinements.
