摘      要:Extreme Programming or XP, may be the most important movement in Information Technology today. Extreme Programming is intended as a process for small teams delivering important business functionality in a rapidly changing world and over the last few years has clearly demonstrated its suitability for such a purpose. It s not applicable for every type of project or organisation. The lack of traceability, for example, makes it inappropriate for safety critical systems. The adjustment in culture that it requires might make it unsuitable for companies which are change averse. However, for many projects and organisations it does provide a means of breaking the development log-jam caused by a broken (or nonexistent) process, which merits you taking this brief look at the world from a different viewpoint.
