摘      要:Process monitoring and control system— the computer mounted to the control panel door that displays shot data....? Good start! But process monitoring systems today include much more. From monitoring the performance of plant-wide systems, tocalculating shot-to-shot process variations, a process control and monitoring system is a requirement for achieving world-class product quality and productivity This article will describe the various types of information and data that should be part of acomprehensive process monitoring strategy, and the application of Prince Machine\ s Pro-Manager process monitoring system to achieve comprehensive process monitoring capabilities.A process control and monitoring system encompasses more than just shot variables, and for good reason. Many other factors beside shot variables affect part quality. Table 1 summarizes the broad reach of a comprehensive process monitoring system.
