摘 要:Improvement in MH organization requires repeated comprehensive analyses of many administrative issues across diverse situations. The issues undoubtedly surround the MH administrator, the staff, and the organization itself. Most important in the analysis are the complexities elicited within the interactive relations which must occur between the preceeding persons and agency. The more viable and visable MH programs appear characterized by administrators who, besides possessing individual leadership qualities, work with staff, utilize appropriate decision-making levels, and establish more objective, complete performance measures. Those same programs are also often maintained within an organization framework which provides for essential authority to the MH administrator and recognition of defined output directed toward service delivery variables. © 1972 Association of Mental Health Administrators.
