摘 要:The present investigation deals with systematic method of analysing the chticalityofthe units or components in a system, after identifying the basic elements of faults through Ishikawa diagram and determining risk priority number of each. Analytical hierarchial process was used to find out the relative worth of each, so as to validate the ranking of critical items. Trimming of some basic elements of faults below thresholding point was done following the theory of solving inventive problem (TRIZ). The present work made in-depth study to find out the probability of potential loss of remaining critical items through AHP and suggested a quantitative decision making equation as a part of the risk analysis.
