摘      要:This article gives a study of coupled-mode analysis for chirowaveguides. Waveguides with chiral material in contact with the perfect electric conducting walls are analyzed with the use of the magnetic-field-expansion approach. It is shown that this approach can provide satisfactory results, including propagation constants and field component configurations. Both magnetic-field-expansion and magnetic-induction-expansion approaches are discussed and compared with each other. Methods of derivation of general expressions of coupling coefficients with the use of the magnetic-induced-expansion approach for bianisotropic waveguides are also given in detail.
