摘 要:Computer simulation on the FitzHugh-Nagumo model shows the existence of a steady spike train with a step change in the interspike intervals propagating in excitable media. A kinematic equation with a nonlinear dispersion relation gives an expression for the interspike intervals of the spike train. The spike train is related to the shock wave solution for Burgers equation.
