摘      要：The paper proposes a way to derive analytical redundancy relations for diagnosable systems. The starting point is an over-determined set of constraints, which is obtained by a structural analysis of the system under consideration. The problem is to find an analytical expression for the residuals in terms of the measured signals and the derivatives of these signals. A new method is described that replaces the derivative constraints included in the structure graph by a series of equations that represent the derivatives of the state variables and the outputs. The result is a matrix-vector representation of an over-determined set of equations, which leads to the analytical redundancy relations. The method is illustrated by an example. © 2017
