摘      要：This part of ISO 6194 establishes the appropriatevocabulary for seals utilizing elastomeric sealingelements where the terms and definitions given inISO 5598 apply. These seals are consideredsuitable for use under low-pressure conditions (seeISO 6194-1:2007, 6.1).NOTE ISO 6194 is complementary to ISO 16589,which covers seals incorporating thermoplastic sealingelements.
