Follistatin is a secreted monomeric glycoprotein first isolated from ovarian follicular fluid on the basis of its ability to suppress FSH secretion by pituitary cells in *** time,many studies demonstrate follistatin is activin-binding and neutralization proteins that also binds myostatin. Mammalian follistatins have been studied intensively,considering its medical and industrial potential use.
