为探讨麦芽糖结合蛋白一促性腺激素释放激素六聚体(MBP-GnRH-I6)主动免疫对猫睾丸和附睾的影响。选取12周龄左右,体重1.0~1.2 kg,健康的雄猫10只,随机分成免疫组(n=5)与对照组(n=5)。16周龄时给免疫组猫每只颈部肌肉注射MBP-GnRH-I6,22周龄时加强免疫一次。以同样的方式与剂量给对照组猫每只注射MBP。免疫前称重,以后每2周称重一次。28周龄时手术摘除睾丸和附睾,称重,取组织进行石蜡切片,HE染色,光学显微镜下观察组织结构变化,并用Motic Image Plus 2.0软件分析图片。结果显示:免疫后,免疫组雄猫的体重与对照组相比没有差异(P>0.05)。免疫组雄猫的睾丸和附睾重量减少(P<0.05)。组织切片显示:免疫组睾丸的曲精小管管腔内较空荡,细胞层数减少;附睾管内没有精子,附睾管腔变小,静纤毛变短。曲精小管与附睾管的纵径、横径、周长和面积与对照组相比明显减小(P<0.05)。曲精小管内的精原细胞、初级精母细胞、精子细胞和精子显著小于对照组(P<0.05)。GnRH-I不影响猫的体重增长,但抑制猫的睾丸和附睾的发育。
