Exotic plant invasion is a hot and complicated issue, and many factors are involved. Allelopathy that focused on relationships between plants is expected to explain some invasive cases. Now a lot of studies showed the allelopathic potential of various invasive plants, and some studies have definitely proved that allelopathy is in favor of successful invasion of exotic plants. Hence, we took a close look at exotic invasive plants to South China, and studied Alternanthera philoxeroides, Ipomoea cairica and Spartina alterniflora which rarely have been studied from allelopathy. Our results demonstrated the allelopathic potential of the three weeds and we concluded that allelopathy might be a common weapon of exotic invasive plants to South China.

三裂叶蟛蜞菊(Wedelia trilobata)原产于南美洲,现在华南和东南亚一带成为入侵种。广州周围地区4年的野外观察发现,三裂叶蟛蜞菊的入侵能力与原生地植物群落的构成有关。在广州地区三裂叶蟛蜞菊能顺利入侵斑茅(Saccharum arundinaceu)群落;马缨丹成丛分布,三裂叶蟛蜞菊不能入侵其群落内部,在马缨丹(Lantana camara)群丛周围三裂叶蟛蜞菊生长不良;铁芒箕(Dicranopteris dichotoma)成片生长,在铁芒萁分布的地块三裂叶蟛蜞菊的入侵受到阻止,野外经常观察到,在三裂叶蟛蜞菊和铁芒萁群落之间形成明显的分界线。室内分析了三种植物的水提液对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的化感作用,结果显示,斑茅对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的有微弱的化感促进作用,马缨丹与铁芒萁的水提液对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的化感抑制作用明显,马缨丹水提液对三裂叶蟛蜞菊根长与发根数的化感抑制作用比铁芒萁要弱。三种植物挥发物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的化感作用也有明显的差异,表现为斑茅对三裂叶蟛蜞菊新生叶数有微弱的促进作用,马缨丹与铁芒萁挥发物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的新生叶均有显著的化感抑制作用,但马缨丹的化感抑制作用明显要强于铁芒萁,有意思的是铁芒萁与马缨丹挥发物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的根长与新生根数目的抑制作用均不明显。三种植物植系土壤的乙醇提取物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊生长有亦有显著的差异。斑茅根系土壤提取物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的根系生长有微弱的促进作用,但新生叶的数量增加与对照相比没有明显的差异;马缨丹与铁芒萁根系土壤提取物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊根系的生长与新生根条数均有显著的抑制作用,其中铁芒萁根系土壤提取物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊根长与新生根条数有抑制作用比马缨丹要强。以上生测结果表明,斑茅对三裂叶蟛蜞有微弱的化感促进作用是三裂叶蟛蜞菊能侵入斑茅群落的重要原因。而蟛蜞菊在马缨丹周围生长不良主要是由于马缨丹挥发物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊地上部的化感抑制作用引起的,由于三裂叶蟛蜞菊在马缨丹周围的根系生长影响不大,因此马缨丹周围并不能完全排除三裂叶蟛蜞菊的存在。由于铁芒萁水提液和根系土壤提取物对三裂叶蟛蜞菊的根系生长均有显著的抑制作用,因此,在三裂叶蟛蜞菊与铁芒萁群落间形成了明显的分界。影响植物入侵能力的因素很多,已有大量的研究证实了化感作用是入侵植物在侵入地显示较强侵占能力的重要原因。本研究表明被入侵植物群落的化感作用强弱也是影响入侵植物侵入能力和侵入形式的重要因素。

研究小麦体内次生代谢物质-丁布含量的变化及其与小麦寄主抗性的关系,有利于进一步阐明丁布的生理作用及其作用机理。本文选用2套遗传背景不同、且含不同抗条锈基因的小麦单基因近等基因系Taichung29*6/Yr2、Taichung29*6/Yr9、Taichung29*6/YrSpP和铭贤169*6/Yr2、铭贤169*6/Yr9、铭贤169*6/YrSpP作为供试寄主材料,比较了不同遗传背景下含不同抗条锈基因近等基因系的丁布含量及其在感病过程中的动态变化。结果显示,在未受病菌侵染情况下,2套分别含有Yr2、Yr9和YrSpP基因的近等基因系(抗病系)与其轮回亲本Taichung29、铭贤169(感病系)间丁布含量没有显著差异。在接种条件下,2套不同背景含不同抗病基因的抗病系在病菌侵染初期丁布含量迅速上升,接种后2d达到高峰,之后逐渐下降,呈抛物线型变化;2个感病系在接种后ld内丁布含量降低,之后上升,接种后2—3d达最高值,然后逐渐下降,均呈S型变化。但各抗病系丁布含量在1-5d各观测时段均高于感病系。感染条锈病菌7d后罹病植株丁布含量比未接种的植株明显减少,各种抗病系减少的百分率明显低于感病系(P<0.05),其中在以Taichung29为遗传背景的材料中,Taichung29减少量最多为26.06%,Taichung29*6/YrSpP减少量最少为18.12%;在以铭贤169为遗传背景的材料中,铭贤169减少量最多为43.66%,铭贤169*6/YrSpP减少量最少为20.31%。结果表明接种条件下小麦植株体内丁布含量的变化与小麦抗条锈近等基因系的抗性有关。作者认为研究病虫危害后寄主丁布含量变化的规律,对次生代谢物质的广泛应用有一定的指导意义。

北细辛[Asarum heteropoides *** ***(Maxim.)Kitag.]为马兜铃科细辛属多年生草本植物。细辛全草干燥后,在我国作为重要的中药,早在两千多年前《神农本草经》就有药用的记载,作为解热、驱风、发汗、祛痰、镇痛药用于治疗感冒、咳嗽、哮喘、胸满、肋痛、头痛、风湿关节痛。近代药理学研究报道细辛对治疗鼻炎、喉炎、胃炎以及口腔糜烂等症,均有显著疗效[3],报道对致病细菌有显著抑制作用。本文选择枸杞炭疽病菌(Colletotrichum sp)、砂仁叶枯病菌(Pestalozzia sp)和西洋参疫病菌(Phytophthoracactorum)等3种药用植物病原真菌为靶标,研究细辛挥发油的抗真菌活性,初步探讨细辛作为植物杀菌剂的可能性和作用机制。以农抗120(4%原药),甲霜灵(58%原药)为对照农药,采用菌丝生长率测定法进行体外毒力测定,绘制毒力曲线,计算各自的EC50,比较细辛挥发油与两种化学农药的作用。结果如下:农抗120、甲霜灵、细辛挥发油对枸杞炭疽病菌的EC50分别为177.8mg/ml、2.1mg/ml、26.9mg/ml,对砂仁叶枯病菌的EC50分别为16.6mg/ml、1.3mg/ml、14.8mg/ml,对西洋参疫病菌的EC50分别为57.5mg/ml、1.7mg/ml、3.5mg/ml。甲霜灵对三种病菌的抑制作用最强;细辛挥发油对三种病菌也有较强的抑菌作用,且对西洋参疫病菌的抑制作用与甲霜灵相当;农抗120对枸杞炭疽和西洋参疫霉的菌丝生长抑制作用较差。以枸杞炭疽病菌为对象,在3种药剂与菌丝作用一定时间后,进行电解质渗漏测定,研究药剂对菌丝细胞膜的损伤作用。测定结果表明,病菌菌丝接触农抗120、甲霜灵、细辛挥发油2h后,电导率分别提高106.83、5.64、7.18倍;10h后电导率分别提高117.63、15.85、13.18倍。以上结果提示,农抗120对枸杞炭疽病菌的作用机制主要是造成菌丝细胞膜损伤,甲霜灵与细辛挥发油对细胞膜损伤有一定作用,并随着作用时间延长强度增加,但应还有其他作用靶点,有待进一步研究。

The interspecies allelopathy of Caragana microphylla and Glycyrrhiza uralensis were studied. The result revealed their relationship of interactions and provided the theory reference to their application of compounding planting pattern in practice. Water extract and cast of C. microphylla root, stem and leaf were used to dispose mutual seed, young seedling and transplant. The result also showed the interspecies allelopathy wasn't conspicuous. The water extract of C. microphylla root, stem and leaf(1～50mg ml -1 ) restrained the germination of G. uralensis seed, but the influence isn't obvious, while the inhibitory action of a high concentration water extract of C. microphylla stem and leaf(50mg ml -1 ) is stronger than the high concentration water extract of root (50mg ml -1 ) . The water extract of C. microphylla cast, root and stem has not obvious effect on the growth and quality of G. uralensis transplant. The water extract of G. uralensis root, stem and leaf(1～ 50mg ml -1 )can improve the germination of C. microphylla seed and the growth of seedling, while effective extent didn't reach an obvious level.

Allelopathy is a major research subject in chemecology, it studies the relationships between the biology and abiotic environment. Since 1960s, several scientists have studied the allelopathy in relation to plant ecology. Now most researches are being done on herbaceous plants and few on woody plants, because of their long lifecycle and slow response to allelopathic substances. Hence, we studied the dynamics and role of allelopathy in forest ecosystem. The traditional ecological theory states that the main driving forces in forest succession are light and water. However, our results of more than 20 years of fieldwork on six major tree species (Cryptocarya chinensis, Cryptocarya concinna, Schima superba, Castanopsis chinesis, Caryota ochlandra and Castanopsis fissa) of Dinghu mountain showed that a) all these test species contain allelochemicals, b) allelopathy affects the succession among these species and c) allelopathy play important role in forest succession. Thus we put forward a hypothesis that allelopathy, light and water, may be considered as the major driving forces in tropical and sub-tropical forest succession.

By means of bioassay laboratory, the releasing mode of allelochemicals of Artemisia annua L. were researched on the wheat, oat, cucumber and radish. The results showed that the volatile matter of the aerial part of Artemisia annua L. had the inhibition effects on four receptor plants;the inhibition synthesis effect(SE) were 57.17,56.29,45.38 and 30.22 respectively;the eluviate matter of the aerial part of Artemisia annua L. had not evident effects on four receptor plant's fresh weight and dry weight;but had certain allelopathic effect on seedling growth. The residues of Artemisia annua L. in 15 days by the microorganism degenerated had the high inhibition on wheat and radish;the inhibition Synthesis effect were 73.09 and 57.03 respectively, and then became low. The root exudates of Artemisia annua L. had the inhibition effects on wheat and oat;the inhibition synthesis effect were 17.80 and 2.43 respectively, had the certain promote effects on cucumber and radish;the inhibition synthesis effect were -5.60 and -3.63 respectively. The allelochemicals of Artemisia annua L. has four mode releasing to the ecosystem in nature condition, the main are the volatile and the eluviate mode, the subordinate mode is the residues and the root exudates.

This experiment was adopted inoculation and soil culture ways respectively to study effects of exogenous p-hydroxy benzoic acid and cinnamic acid Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumarinm of cucumber. The results of inoculation showed, when the concentrations were 0 g.L -1 - 1.0 g. L -1 respectively, the mycelium growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumarinm was observably inhibited at 0.2 g. L -1 and 1.0 g. L -1 by cinnamic acid after sixty hours of inoculation (p<0.05). In the range of concentrations and time of inoculation in the experiment, the mycelium growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumarinm was not inhibited by p-hydroxy benzoic acid significantly. In order to research the effects of Allelopathic on Fusarium wilt of cucumber and soil microbes under soil culture, the soil were treated with p-hydroxy benzoic acid and cinnamic acid in five concentrations of 0,25,50,100 and 200 *** -1 . The results showed that allelopathic promoted soil fungi, bacterium and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumarinm and inhibited soil actinomyces;Allelopathic changed soil microbes system and decreased the percentage of Fusarium wilt to fungi.

In our study allelopathy in Trifolium repens L. is conducted by the bioassays of mixing sowing and seedlings co-culture of T. repens and Lotium perenne L., T. repens and Eragrostis curvula L. And also seeds germination of L. perenne and E. curvula is assessed by the extracts from roots, aerial parts and the fresh plant of T. repens. The results are depicted as the following: The extracts of all part in T. repens inhibited the plant growth of L. perenne and E. curvula at the rate of raw and 20-fold solutions. In addition, the 100-fold extract prompted both receptors growth. The above results suggests that T. repens will influence the growth of L. perenne and E. curvula because of its allelopathic potential,. The most perfect ratio of seeds mixing sowing T. repens and L. perenne, T. repens and E. curvula is found as 5:1 shown in the mixing sowing test.

Photosynthetic bacteria (PSB) is one kind of hydrosphere microorganisms. It grows with photo-heterotrophically light and anaerobic conditions and metabolizes various organic compounds aselectron donors and carbon sources. PSB is significant in both natural ecosystem and practical application. It has been used as an active microbial feed additive and applied in the treatment of organic waster water. Due to its important applied value, it has been receiving increasingly attention. Nevertheless the chief problem for PSB in practical application is how to obtain PSB culture solution with high concentration in shorter time and lower cost. Therefore the study about mass culture of PSB becomes important for application of PSB widely. In this paper, the growth promotion of triacontanol(TA), gibberellin(GA3) and α-naphthylacetic acid (α-NAA) on PSB was studied. The results showed that the three plant growth hormones could accelerate growth of PSB. Of the three, gibberellin exhibited the best promoting effect with optimum concentration of 0.5 mg/L. Optimum concentrations of triacontanol and α-naphthylacetic acid were both 1.0 mg/L. This indicated that it was feasible and practical to promote growth of PSB by adding some plant growth hormones.
