该文介绍了科技部国家重点基础研究发展规划项目"首都北京及周边地区大气、水、土环境污染机理及调控原理"大气分项目的部分研究成果.项目分别于2001年和2003年重点开展了BECAPEX科学试验(Beijing City Air Pollution Experiment).本文分析了2003年8月在中国科学院大气物理研究所气象铁塔不同高度使用被动采样器获得的SO和NO观测数据以及同期观测的PM和PM资料,结合气象铁塔同期的气象场观测,揭示了北京城区SO、NO、PM和PM垂直结构及其动力特征.
