The synthesis of organized mesoporous alumina has exploring new territory for application of this type of materials,particularly as catalysts or catalyst *** specific surface area and thermal stability are the major requirements for alumina as catalyst *** this paper,we report a facile synthesis of ordered and high thermal stability mesoporous alumina doping with La or Ce ions under hydrochloric acid *** stability improvements by rare earth（La and Ce） doping are *** our work,we find that both rare earth doping can effectively stabilize the amorphous walls of alumina *** material presents the ability to maintain the surface area and pore structure upon prolonged heating below 700℃. Further more,as the results shows the modification of La for improving the thermal stability is more effective than ***,Cl does not strongly influence the self-assembly process in the closed system.

For the remarkable applications of high-M ferromagnetic iron nitrides on microwave absorbing and magnetic recording,we successfully used a rather simple nitrogen treatment to prepare purely cubicγ-FeN and hexagonalε-FeN powder than those methods reported previously by *** two kinds of powder are synthesized by nitridation of the commercial micro-scale Fe and FeO powder, respectively,at 550℃for 5 hours during a flowing mixture of NH and H *** pureγ-FeN powder exhibits a high saturation magnetization of 15.03 kG at room temperature,which is slightly lower than that of bulk Fe（22.0kG@4K） but is considerably higher than that ofγ-FeO（4.0kG@4K）.Theε-FeN powder including a slight amount ofγ-FeN was also synthesized by heating the commercial FeO powder under the same annealing *** chemical stabilities of bothγ-FeN andε-FeN powder are superior to that of the pure Fe and have high level of mechanical *** mircostructures and electron spin resonances of our iron nitrides were also *** work was supported by the NSC 98-2112-M-007-016-MY3 project.

The polyaniline(PANI) and PANI-Co0.5Zn0.5La0.1Fe1.9004 (x wt％, x=10,20 and 30) composites were prepared by an in situ polymerization in an aqueous solution. The structure and morphologies of the synthesized products were characterized by Ultraviolet-visible spectrometer (UV-vis), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning electron microscope (SEM). The complex permittivity(ε'-jε") and complex permeability (μ'-jμ") were measured in X-band (8.2-12.4GHz) by using vector network analyzer (HB8510B). The dielectric loss(ε") of PANI-Co0.5Zn0.5La0.1Fe1.90O4 (x wt％) were lower than those of pure PANI, whereas the magnetic loss(u") of PANI-Co0.5Zn0.5La0.1Fe1.90O4 (x wt％) were higher than those of pure PANI. Furthermore, the e" values of composites decreased and the u" values of composites increased, respectively, with the increase of Co0.5Zn0.5La0.1Fe1.90O4 relative content.

较多的多铁性材料具有层状的Aurivillius型类钙钛矿结构,其通式为:ABiBO=（BiO）(ABO),是一种由萤石型[BiO]单层和钙钛矿型[ABO]板块交互叠合构成的层状氧化物,其中m=1-8（整数）,对应着形成钙钛矿型板块的共角八面体二维薄板的数目,即一个钙钛矿型板块由m层薄板构成。A是可以12配位的大阳离子(Na,K,Ca,Sr,pb,Ba,Ln,Bi,Y,U,Th,…etc.),B是可以6配位（形成八面体）的小阳离子(Fe,Cr,Ga,Ti,Zr,Nb,Ta,Mo,W,…etc.)。通过在上式中的A位引入Bi,B位引入Ti、Fe可以得到结构比较稳定的BiTiFeO层状化合物（m=4）,它可以看作是由三层结构的BiTiO与BiFeO结合而成的四层化合物。BiTiO铁电转换温度为675℃,BiFeO铁电转换温度为850℃,后者的反铁磁温度为370℃。BiTiFeO具铁电与反铁磁性(磁化率为1.85×10 emu/mo),尼尔温度为80K。BiTiFeO属于斜方晶系,对其电性能如铁电、介电等研究的较多,对磁性仅有单一Co掺量试样的研究。本工作制备了BiTiFeCoO（x=0,0.25,0.5,0.75,1.0）系列粉末,以期将磁性单元引入到层状结构中的钙钛矿层以提高材料的铁磁性,探讨了钙钛矿层中Fe位（B位）Co掺杂对材料的相结构、显微结构和铁磁性的影响。结果表明:未掺杂试样（x=0）和Co掺量较低试样（x=0.25）为单相四层结构,x=0.5时主相为四层结构,但同时产生了少量杂相,x≥0.75时主相变为三层结构。所有试样都具有铁磁性,当x=0.25时试样呈均匀的层片状结构,铁磁性达最高值（Ms=0.4142emu/g,Hc=158.59Oe）。铁磁性的变化规律与主相钙钛矿层中所含Fe和Co数量、粉末的物相组成以及层状显微结构有关。

This article presents investigations on the synthesis of nano-CaCO by the simultaneous absorption of CO and NH into CaCl solution in a rotating packed bed （RPB）.The influence of the experimental parameters including the high gravity level, gas volumetric flow rate,liquid volumetric flow rate,and initial CaCl concentration on the particle size of CaCO were *** Electron Microscope image of the as-prepared CaCO shows that the mean size of the nano-CaCO particles was about 50 nm with a particle size distribution（PSD） of 10 - 80 nm.X-ray Diffraction pattern demonstrates that the nano-CaCO has a calcite crystal structure.

Potassium sodium niobate (KNN) powders were synthesized using a modified sol-gel method. The metal precursors used for the KNN synthesis were potassium carbonate, sodium carbonate, and niobium hydroxide. Ethylene glycol (EG) and ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA)/citrate were used as the esterification and chelating agents, respectively. The effects of the amount of citric acid (CA), EG, and EDTA on the stability of the precursor sol were investigated. The powders and gels were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric-differential scanning calorimetry analysis. The results indicated that the stable precursor sol was formed when n(CA):n(Mn+) = 3:1, n(NH4-H2O):n(EDTA) = 1:3.5, and n(CA):n(EG) = 1:2. The xerogel was calcined at 500-950 ℃ to prepare the KNN powder. The pure perovskite phase of KNN with a cubic-like structure was synthesized at 850 ℃ from the precursor sol with the K/Na molar ratio of 1.2. The formation mechanism of the KNN perovskite phase was also discussed.

In our work, we find that both rare earth doping can effectively stabilize the amorphous walls of alumina mesostructures. This material presents the ability to maintain the surface area and pore structure upon prolonged heating below 700 ℃. Further more, as the results shows the modification of La for improving the thermal stability is more effective than Ce. Besides, Cl- does not strongly influence the self-assembly process in the closed system.

Titanium dioxide has been recently considered as anode material for Li-ion batteries due to its relatively high reversible capacity and durable charge-discharge characteristic（in the range of 1～3 V）.For further increasing specific surface area of the TiO to improve charge capacity and charge-discharge rate,a combinatorial method is proposed in this study by using micro-arc oxidation（MAO） and post- alkali treatment to grow a micrometer-scale porous anatase TiO scaffold layer on the titanium foil with nano-flaky TiO over the scaffold *** thermal annealing, lithium ion insertion into and extraction from such a structure was investigated using cyclic voltammetry technique and step potential measurement. The experimental results showed that a micrometer-scale porous and crystalline anatase TiO layer can be simply fabricated by MAO on titanium *** alkali treatment,numerous nano-flakes about 40 nm in dimension were developed all over the oxide surface,which largely increased the specific surface *** expected, lithium ion insertion and extraction occurred to the nano-flaky TiO at a potential of - 0.68 V and -1.53 V,respectively vs Ag/*** nano-flaky TiO promoted a faster lithium ion insertion（and extraction） and a larger amount of the associated charge exchange relative to the MAO grown TiO.

CdO nanoparticles with different sizes were synthesized by a simple thermal decomposition reaction of the precursor CdCO,which was synthesized by room-temperature grinding reaction between Cd（CHCOO）·2HO and NaCO. Composition,structure and morphology of the products were analyzed and characterized by X-ray diffraction technology,transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetry and fourier infrared *** of CdO nanoparticles is thought that nucleation rate of the reactive system is far excess growth rate of particle. Optical properties of the products were recorded,and the ultraviolet-visible spectra exhibit the distinct blue shift in comparison with them of the bulk CdO,which is because that the quantum confinement effect of the products should be larger than the Coulomb *** spectra of the products exhibit the emission bands around 520 and 720 nm,respectively,which attributed to the quantum size effect and structural defects in the crystals.

Preparation of photocatalysts of TiO and Ag-TiO was carried out by coprecipitation *** degradation of simulated dye wastewater（FBL, Everdirect supra turguoise blue） was studied and compared by solar irradiation using prepared TiO and Ag-TiO *** disinfection of ***,an model indicator organisms for the safe water supply,was also investigated by TiO and Ag-TiO under different light *** solar degradation of FBL dye showed that the color removal percentage（ADMI removal%,American Dye Manufacturing Institute） for both photocatalysts were quite close,95-96%and TOC（total organic carbon） removal percentages were 88%for TiO and 74%for *** silver doped TiO showed faster initial reaction *** initial rate constants(min) for TiO were 1.86 for the study of TOC removal and 1.72 for ADMI removal while those for Ag-TiO were 2.01 for the study of TOC removal and 2.64 for ADMI *** to the inactivation of ***,the treatment efficacy would be:UV/Ag-TiO;visible/Ag-TiO;dark/Ag-TiO;UV（all 100%）>UV/TiO（99%）>visible/TiO（96%）>dark/TiO （87%）>visible（23%）>dark（19%）.The disinfection efficiency by their corresponding kinetic initial rate constants(min) would be:UV/Ag-TiO;visible/Ag-TiO （both 6.67）>UV（6.6）>dark/Ag-TiO（6.56）>UV/TiO（1.62）>visible/TiO （1.08）>dark/TiO（0.7）>visible（0.28）>dark（0.03）.The application of TiO doped with silver strongly improved the disinfection *** Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetic model（L.-***） can also be applied for the solar degradation of FBL dye wastewater by using Ag-TiO as photocatalyst.
