In a field experiment,two winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars,Jimai 22 and Xinmai 26,differing in their sensitivity to heat stress,were subjected to high temperature by establishing greenhouse at grain filling,to study the photosynthesis capability with various aspects under heat stress. Experimental results showed that the net photosynthesis rate declined under the heat stress,not caused by stomata limitation but by decline in Rubisco activity and functional drop of PSⅡ.Photosynthetic rates of flag leaf decreased faster in Xinmai 26 than in Jimai 22 under heat stress during grain filling,with a decrease of 12.8%and 6.6%,*** net photosynthesis rate reduced more rapidly than that under non-stress,and the reduction reached up to 69.9%and 59.3%at 10 *** slower photosynthetic decline contribute directly some to its higher grain yield in Jimai 22,together with its slower decrease of chlorophyll,flag leaf senescence was delayed in comparison to the earlier senescent Xinmai *** grain yield of Jimai 22 decreased by 6.41%,and that of Xinmai 26 decreased by 11.43%,compared with those *** stress also caused alteration to ultrastructure of mesophyll *** stress damaged the regular ultrastructure of many organelles in different extent,such as chloroplast,mitochondria,*** caused by heat stress on organelles in Xinmai 26 was more severe than those in Jimai ***,Jimai 22 cultivar showed some self-repair capacity to the impairment,yet Xinmai 26 cultivar did *** results indicated that photosynthetic performance decline caused by heat stress was cultivar-dependent. In this study,12 winter wheat cultivars,growing in phytotron,were used as *** seedlings of winter wheat were treated by ultraviolet-B radiation(UV-B,280nrn~320nm) for 15 d using the dose of 3.24 kJ·m·d and 5.40 kJ·m·d,*** response indexes(RI) of plant height,dry weight, fresh weight,photochemical reflectance index(PRI),chlorophyll,carotenoid and anthocyanin content were analyzed and *** results showed that the influences of the two UV-B doses on winter wheat seedlings were ***-B dose of 3.24 kJ·m·d significantly inhibited the height of plants, but promoted the dry weight and ***-B dose of 5.40 kJ·m·d significantly inhibited all the indexes, especially plant height and fresh *** the treatment of two UV-B doses,the RI of plant height, dry weight,fresh weight,carotenoid and anthocyanin content were all very significantly correlated with the cumulative stress response index(CSRI),and the RI of carotenoid and anthocyanin content were significantly correlated with dry weight and fresh weight,indicating that carotenoid and anthocyanin content were vital to UV-B ***,there was no significant correlation in the RI of anthocyanin content between two doses of UV-B and the same result existed in the RI of carotenoid content,indicating that the responses of these two indexes were not consistent under different doses of *** shows a very significant correlation to carotenoid and anthocyanin content under UV-B of 3.24 kJ·m·d,indicating that the decline of carotenoid and anthocyanin content might be one of the reasons for PRI *** all samples,the modification of fresh weight under two doses of UV-B was variable and not significant,but the correlation of dry weight was significant,which might be the results of different effects on water content influenced by different doses of ***,the index of fresh weight was not suitable for analysis of UV-B *** conclusion,when comparing the UV-B toleran
