The objective of this study is to develop a regression cucumber dry matter production model with a minimum number of ***(Cucumis sativus L) was cultivated in a soilless system with drip *** substrate was peat mixed with *** experiments were fulfilled totally in 3 different places in Beijing of China from 2004 to *** growth data(dry matter weight of leaf,stem,fruit and petiole) were measured and environmental data(temperature,light intensity and day length)were *** collected from 1 experiment in solar greenhouse was used to build the model,which was further validated with the data collected from other 4 experiments in solar greenhouse.A regression model for cucumber dry matter production was *** on Logistic curve,the time state variable was expressed as a logistic function about effective temperature accumulation(ETA) and effective light intensity accumulation(ELIA).ETA was defined as the sum of the temperature that was higher than physiological zero point in certain period,and ELIA was defined as the sum of the light intensity that was higher than light compensation point multiplied with time in certain ***,light intensity and day length were synthetically *** model had less state variables,and provided the relationships between the cucumber dry matter accumulation(DMA) per plant and environmental data(temperature,radiation and day length).The result of simulation was satisfied,because RMSE value was less than 6,and the R2 value of the results was *** indicated that the regression model for cucumber dry matter production was reasonable and feasible.

Verticillium wilt of cotton is one of the diseases of cotton with extensive occurrence and maximal harming in our country even in the *** spectrum remote sensing with the fine spectrum information has becoming the efficient method to monitor the verticillium wilt of *** research was conducted in Xinjiang,the largest cotton plant region of *** paper used data which was collected both canopy spectrum infected with verticillium wilt and SL(severity level) in the year 2005-2006,the quantitative correlation were analyzed between SL and canopy reflectance spectrum,derivative *** tested results indicated that spectrum characteristics of cotton canopy infected with verticillium wilt had better regularity with the increase of SL in different periods and *** reflectance increased in visible light region(620-700 nm) with the increase of the SL,which inverted in nearinfrared region,and extreme signification in 780- 1300 *** SL got25%,cotton canopy infected with verticillium wilt could be used as a watershed and diagnosed index in an early *** tested results also indicated there were evident characteristics of first derivative spectrum in these SL,it changed significantly in red edge ranges(680-760 nm) with different SL,red edge swing decreased,and red edge position equal moved to the *** results indicated that 1001-1110 nm and 1205-1320 nm were selected out as sensitive band regions to SL of *** some inversion models for estimating cotton canopy infected with verticillium wilt all reached the most significantly *** last,the results suggested that different spectrum characteristics of cotton canopy infected with verticillium wilt were obvious,the first derivative spectrum(FD-FDwill invert the cotton canopy SL accurately,and it may be used to forecast the position of cotton canopy infected with verticillium wilt in quantitatively.
