In the heavy-metal pollution, cadmium (Cd) pollution is one of the most harmful heavy-metals,and can severely impact ecosystem health and drinking water *** accumulation of Cd in rice is a major agricultural problem, and it poses a great threat to human *** the enrichment, acclimation, screening, separation, several Cdresistant bacteria were isolated from the heavy-metals contaminated soil near the drainage channel of a steel mills in Qingshan district of Wuhan *** these bacteria,Cupriavidus ***2 had strong absorption and accumulationcapacity to Cd and biosynthesized nanoparticles, which could effectively resist to Cd ***,this study compared the different responses and the accumulation of Cd in rice seedlings under Cd stress in hydroponics experiment by adding Cupriavidus ***2 or *** was collected on plant heights, chlorophyll (Chl) contents, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)contents,malondialdehyde (MDA) contents, soluble protein contents, glutathione (GSH) contents, antioxidant enzyme activities, such as catalase (CAT),superoxide dismutase (SOD),guaiacol peroxidase (POD) and Cd contents of rice seedlings when grown in the presence of 400 μmol/L ***,Cupriavidus ***2 decreased the accumulation of Cd in rice seedlings by 40%.This study focus on assessing the effects of Cupriavidus ***2 on physiology, biochemistry and Cd accumulation in rice underlying the cadmium stress,in order to provide the potential microbial resource and technical support to solve the cadmium pollution and food safety problems like "Cd rice".
