小果菘蓝(Isatis minima Bunge)为典型的一年生早春短命植物。2004年,我们从形态学、物候学、繁育系统、生殖分配及结实特性五个方面,对该植物与干旱荒漠环境的适应机制进行了探讨。其主要结果如下: 1.形态和物候特征:该植物株高40.94±5.02cm,较矮小;根系浅,主根长15.44±3.43cm,分枝多。在准噶尔荒漠,该植物一般在3月下旬开始萌动,到6月初果实成熟,整个生长周期为76天左右,具有萌动早、生长发育快、生长周期短等特点,在干热的夏季来临之前迅速完成其生活史,是一种典型的避旱型短命植物。2.繁育系统:总状花序圆锥状,花两性,四强雄蕊:单花一般在早晨8点以前开放,持续1-2

The aim of this study was to investigate the spatial distribution patterns and the amounts of seedling density of A. pennata in different sample dunes in Gurbantonggut Desert. Results indicate that spatial patterns of seddling emergence of A. pennata were general similar with the distribution patterns of its associated standing vegetations(Fig.1), and was greatly associated with spatial distribution of the threshold wind frequency from the varying directions (Fig.2). There existed a significant difference in its seedling emergence patterns among the different parts of the dunes(Fig.3) and the different directions around its parent vegetation beds(Fig.2). The highest seedling density was found to be on the top parts of sampling dunes and at the underlayer of standing vegetation beds of A. pennata, and higher seedling densities usually took place in the leeward side of the vegetation beds. These results had revealed the picturesque ecological characteristics of the population distribution rule and the recruitments mechanism of A. pennata.
