Background: On November 7,2007,the US Consumer Product Safety Commission(US-CPSC)announced a voluntary recall of"Aquadots"toys due to the presence of gamma butyrolactone(GBL),which upon ingestion of these plastic beads became metabolized to gamma-hydroxyl butyrate(GHB).This recall followed several well-publicized cases of children who became profoundly sedated from GHB after accidental toy ingestion. For this study,we reviewed calls made to a statewide poison center network about ingestions or exposures to *** purpose was to investigate whether the widely broadcasted US-CPSC recall significantly impacted call volume to Poison Control Centers about this product.

目的观察急性百草枯中毒大鼠结缔组织生长因子(CTGF)及α平滑肌动蛋白(α-SMA)表达水平的变化,探讨百草枯致肺纤维化的机制。方法 SD大鼠随机分为对照组(生理盐水)6只和染毒组(PQ)56只。染毒组给予生理盐水稀释PQ 80mg/kg一次性灌胃;对... 详细信息

目的观察急性百草枯中毒大鼠结缔组织生长因子(CTGF)及α平滑肌动蛋白(α-SMA)表达水平的变化,探讨百草枯致肺纤维化的机制。方法 SD大鼠随机分为对照组(生理盐水)6只和染毒组(PQ)56只。染毒组给予生理盐水稀释PQ 80mg/kg一次性灌胃;对照组给予生理盐水1m1/kg一次性灌胃。于不同处理后3、7、14、25、56d分别以免疫组化SABC法检测大鼠肺组织CTGF及α-SMA的表达强度和定位;Western blot检测肺组织CTGF及α-SMA的蛋白表达水平;初步分析两者表达的相关性及其表达与肺组织纤维化的相关性;同时观察大鼠中毒表现及肺组织病理变化。结果与对照组比较,免疫组化和Western blot检测染毒后大鼠肺组织的CTGF、α-SMA的表达变化规律较为一致,均随时间延长而逐渐升高,3、7d升高幅度缓慢,14～56d增幅较大,各时段均明显高于对照组(P理学MASSON检测可见14～28d成纤维细胞大量增殖,胶原纤维数量逐渐增多。结论 CTGF及α-SMA在染毒大鼠肺组织中的表达持续增高;CTGF可能通过促使肺Fb向MFb转化,增加胶原分泌和基质合成,在PQ所致肺纤维化的发生发展中起重要作用。
