The Au-Ga system was critically assessed by means of CALPHAD *** on the experimental data in the literature,the excess Gibbs energies of the solution phases（liquid,fcc, orthorhombic） were modeled with the Redlich-Kister *** intermetallic compoundsαAuGa,βAuGa,β'AuGa,γAuGa andγ'AuGa,which have homogeneity ranges,were treated as the formula Au（Au,Ga）,（Au,Ga）Ga,（Au,Ga）（Au,Ga）,（Au,Ga）（Au,Ga） and（Au,Ga）（Au,Ga）,respectively, using a two-sublattice model with Au and Ga or Au on the first sublattice,Au and Ga or Ga on the second *** two compounds AuGa and AuGa were treated as stochiometric compounds.A set of self-consistent thermodynamic parameters of the Au-Ga system was obtained.

The thermodynamic modeling and optimization of the Ge-Sb and the Ge-Sb-Sn systems were critically carried out by means of the CALPHAD（CALculation of PHAse Diagram） *** excess Gibbs energy of the solution phases（liquid,diamond,bct and rhombohedral） were modeled with the Redlich-Kister *** Compound Energy Model has been used to describe the thermodynamic functions of the intermetallic compound in the Ge-Sb *** compound SbSn was treated as the formulae（Ge,Sb,Sn）(Sb,Sn) and the compound SbSn was treated as stoichiometric compound in the Ge-Sb-Sn system.A self-consistent thermodynamic description of the Ge-Sb-Sn system was obtained. The projection of the liquidus surfaces and the complete reaction scheme for the Ge-Sb-Sn system were predicted.

A thorough review and critical experimental check of phase equilibria in the Gd-Ni binary system were carried out by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and heat flux differential scanning calorimeter.A thermodynamic modeling with modified GdNi phase,removed GdNi and GdNi phases and re-assessment of Gd-Ni system are available by CALPHAD *** Mg-Gd-Ni ternary alloy system is rich in intermetallic phases and five stable ternary compounds are determined by integrated experiments as well as a potential long-period-stacking ordered structure in Mg-rich *** equilibria of Mg-Gd-Ni system in 673K have been analysis and a complete range thermodynamic description of ternary system is attempted first time to be worked out by CALPHAD *** resultant thermodynamic database is checked by comparing solidification simulation with experimental observed microstructures.

The Mg-Bi binary was optimized by many authors in the past *** they adopted the Ionic Melt and the Modified Quasi-chemical Models to describe the liquid *** the present work, considering the short range ordering behavior of the liquid phase of the Mg-Bi binary and the construction of the thermodynamic database of the multi-component Mg-based system,the associate model was used to describe the liquid phase with the constituent of the species Mg,Bi and BiMg.A consistent thermodynamic data set for the liquid phase in the Mg-Bi binary system is obtained by means of CALPHAD *** calculation results agree well with experiments.

The Al-V and Al-Si-V systems were optimized by the means of the CALPHAD(CALculation of PHAse Diagram) *** solution phases,liquid,fcc,bcc and diamond,were described by the substitutional solution *** compound A1V with homogeneity ranges in the Al-V system was described by the four-sublattice model in formula such as Al(Al,V)(Al,V)*** compounds AlV except AlV in the Al-V system were treated as line compounds(Al,Si)V in the Al-Si-V *** compounds SiV except SiV in the Si-V system were treated as line compounds(Al,Si)V in the Al-Si-V *** ternary compoundτ-AlSiV with F24 structure in the Al-Si-V system is treated as (Al,Si)V.A self-consistent thermodynamic description of the Al-Si-V system is obtained.

The computational thermodynamic descriptions of six binary systems composed of alkali metals, Sodium,Potassium,Rubidium and Cesium,were modeled by CALPHAD technique in the present work. The solution phases,liquid and body-centered cubic,were described using a substitution model,and the excess Gibbs energies formulated with Redlich-Kister *** intermediate phases,NaK,NaCs, with no solubility ranges,were treated as stoichiometric *** thermodynamic properties of the six binary systems as well as the phase diagrams were *** consistency between the calculated and the reported phase equilibrium data and thermochemical property values has been obtained for all of the six binaries,K-Na,K-Cs,K-Rb,Cs-Na,Cs-Rb and Na-Rb systems.

镁合金由于具有密度小、比强度高及良好的减振性能,在汽车、电子及航空航大领域有着广泛的应用前景。目前开发的实际合金体系主要有Mg-Al基,如Mg-A1-Zn系（AZ）、Mg-A1-Mn系（AM）、Mg-A1-Si系（AS）、Mg-Al-Ca系（AX）等;Mg-Zn基,如Mg-Zn-Cu系（ZC）、Mg-Zn-Zr系（ZK）、Mg-Zn-RE系（ZE）等;Mg-RE基,如Mg-Gd-Y系（WE）,Mg-RE-Zr系等。然而与其它成熟的结构材料相比,其合金化尚存在诸多问题,例如微量Ce提高Mg-Zn系合金室温成形的机理,改善镁合金耐热性的机理等。而这些问题的解决与目前相平衡及热力学的研究水平密切相关。然而,目前关于镁合金相图的研究主要集中在热力学评估,这些结果都是在早期二元系相平衡及三元相图有限数据的基础上获得的。对于作为相图评估基础的实验测相图的研究仍然没有引起足够的重视。图1和2表明了目前关于两个重要的基础系统,Mg-Al和Mg-Zn基镁合金具有相平衡信息的体系。以目前应用最广泛的AZ系镁合金体系的相图为例,对Mg-A1-Zn相图的研究已经快一个世纪,但在富镁角的相平衡信息仅有一个等温截面相图和几个垂直截面相图。而对于当前微合金化的诸多添加元素（Ca、Mn、Ti等）而言,其在富镁角相平衡信息更是不详,导致无法构建热力学数据库。对于Mg-Nd二元合金中,MgNd相只有在从液相快冷的条件下才能形成,而且是一个亚稳相,在一定条件下会转变成MgNd平衡相。在现有的Mg-Zn-Nd三元系250-500℃等温截面中,MgNd相与Mg基固溶体是平衡相,而Mg-Nd-Zr三元系中平衡相为MgNd相。而对Mg-Nd-Zn-Zr四元合金在重力铸造条件下即可获得了MgNd相,并非MgNd相。这就意味着这些信息并不能支撑这些体系的合金设计及理解镁合金强韧化和耐热性提高的合金化机理。针对实测相图的研究概况,本课题组近三年通过合金法及扩散偶法对Mg-Al-Zn（Mn）、Mg-Sn-Si（Y,Gd）、Mg-Zn-Cu（Zr）进行了研究,同时在研究过程中发现目前已有Mg-X系二元相图在镁端的相平衡成分也存在着很大地不一致。因此也对Mg-Al、Mg-RE（Y,Gd,Nd）等二元系相图进行了重新测定。图3和图4分别为Mg-Sn-Y三元系400℃等温截面及重新测定的Mg-Y二元相图。对于Mg-Sn-Y三元系来说,MgSnY、SnY等一些高熔点化合物的稳定存在,使得该体系有可能成为一种潜在的新型耐热镁合金。而对于Mg-Y二元系来说,高温具有更高的固溶度,从而能够更好地利用Y的固溶强化及时效强化。

As pointed out in previous parts of our research,knowledge of phase equilibrium and thermodynamic properties of the systems of high technological interest for such as titanium based alloys or ***,phase equilibrium and thermodynamic properties of the Al-Ga-Ti-N system is of high technological interest for nitrides are considered to be potential semiconductor *** binary Ga-Ti system is the core constituent system from the above quaternary.A thermodynamically description of this system in the whole composition range has been given by Li et al..Recently new theoretical data,like calculated enthalpies of formation of Ga-Ti intermetallic compounds by ab initio approach and thermodynamic properties of solution phases(A1 and A3) from CVM calculation were provided Results from the ab initio calculation and the cluster variation method(CVM) were used to update the thermodynamic description of the Ga-Ti system by the CALPHAD ***,in the scope of thermoelectric materials we have made the Calphad des cription of the Cd-Sb-Zn ternay *** will present some results and connections to physical properties.

The isothermal section at 345℃has been determined in the Mg-Zn-Zr ternary system through the XRD and SEM-EDS analysis of a series of Mg-Zn-Zr alloys,As shown *** results show that there exist three intermetallic compounds ZnZr,ZnZr（Mg,Zn）Zr,and the liquid phase in equilibrium with theα-Mg *** the Zn solubility in theα-Mg matrix decreses with the incresing the Zr contents. Besides,another two three-phase regions were also obtained,consisting of Liquid + MgZn +（Mg,Zn）Zr and MgZn + ZnZr +（Mg,Zr） Zn,***,the Zr solubility in the MgZn intermetallic compound reaches about 15.35 at.%,which is very much more than the Mg solubility in the ZnZr compound,i.e.～3 at.%Mg.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-7Sn alloy extruded indirectly at 300℃have been *** grain size of the a-Mg matrix decreases from 160μm after homogeneous treatment to 3μm after *** is attributed to dynamic recrystallization and the precipitation of the MgSn phase happened during the *** the same time,a large number of MgSn phases with a size of about 550 nm precipitate uniformly inα-Mg matrix during *** compressive and tensile yield strength of extruded Mg-7Sn alloy is 180 and 190 MPa,respectively shown in *** mechanisms estimation shows that grain boundary strengthening is the main strengthening mechanism in extruded alloy. The alloy also exhibits a low mechanical anisotropy with a compression to tension ratio of *** high compression to tension ratio may be explained by fine grain structure of the alloy.
