The Adenosine triphosphate(ATP),released from astrocytes,has been demonstrated to be critical for the propagating of the calcium wave in astrocyte *** ATP-induced calcium wave has been defined to propagate among the subpopulation of astrocytes by astrocytic purinergic receptors that can directly respond to ***,this concept has been challenged by the experimental discovery that some neurons can also respond to ATP from asctrocyte,and then relsease glutamate that can directly activate IP3 receptors on the surfaces of these *** these experimental discoveries have offered us a concept that the neuronal network has played a significant role in the ATP-induced calcium *** this paper,we have proposed a reaction-diffusion kinetic model of ATP in an astrocyte-neuron network,and investigated the firing properties of the neuronal network and the role of the neuronal network in the propagating of the calcium ***,we also introduced the correlation matrix theory to investigate the synchronization transitions of the calcium waves,and have found that the formation of calcium waves corresponds to an abrupt synchrony transition of the astrocyte population.

This paper investigates computationally the chaotic saddles in a nonlinear vibro-impact *** a classical Duffing vibro-impact oscillator,we employ the bisection procedure and the improved stagger-and-step method to present evidence of visual chaotic saddles on the fractal basin boundary and in the internal basin,*** study shows that the unstable period orbits play an important role in the evolution of chaotic *** unstable periods created through a saddle-node bifurcation not only fill the "gaps" right after the chaotic crisis,but also are responsible for the switch between the internal chaotic saddle and the boundary chaotic ***,a novel phenomenon of chaotic saddle crisis is unfolded,that is,the chaotic saddle on the basin boundary can be decomposed into two different chaotic *** two chaotic saddles are located on the basin boundary and in the internal basin respectively,and are connected by a coupling unstable periods on the basin ***,these unstable periods fill the "gaps" right after the rupture of chaotic saddle.
