A numerical model of the radiation has been employed by a Monte Carlo method and statistical physics to simulate the process of a capillary plasma source for Electrothermal-Chemical(ETC) *** effect on propellant grains with different average absorption coefficients is *** plasma-propellant interaction is also discussed when combined with a thermal *** show that the strong instantaneous radiation is responsible for the transmission of energy to the propellant grains leading to *** efficiency of energy absorption in the propellant bed always maintains a high *** energy caused by plasma is concentrated around the plasma *** "hot zone" efficiency is mainly effected by the properties of propellant grains within a small field around the plasma injector.

The analysis here predicts the net electron emission current as a function of bias voltage for a plasma source that is being used as the cathodic element in a bare electrodynamic tether system.A spherical,steady-state model that considers the collisionless plasma plume expansion process on the operation of electron-emission is *** prediction results match well with the laboratory experiment results in the low electron-emission current *** difference at the turning point in big electron emission current range indicates the ionization process plays an important role and should be counted in the developed *** typical prediction results and experimental result are presented and compared in Fig.1.

A plasma column was used to transmit radio frequency(RF) *** plasma column was produced in a long glass tube filled with low-pressure *** transmission, reflection and radiation of RF signals at different frequencies along the plasma column were measured under different plasma conditions and compared with a metal *** results show that the RF transmission increases with the discharge power and approaches the feature of metal column when the power reaching a critical *** standing wave ratio(SWR) and impedance of plasma column also become similar to the *** dense plasma can act as a conductor to transmit RF signals without significant attenuation within a large range of column length.

Large non-spherical dust grains with different shapes have been observed in an rf discharge plasma *** mechanism of the formation of non-spherical grains is *** plays an important role in the aggregation and coagulation of the non-spherical *** aggregation process of these non-spherical grains can be characterized by the evolution of fractal dimension in the grain growth *** investigation results are useful for understanding the formation of dust grains in astronomical as well as industry *** can also be a guide for theoretical modeling of the growth of large grains with irregular shapes.

Electrical capacitance tomography(ECT) was applied in non-intrusive visualization measurement of plasma ***,the electric nature of plasma jet and the imaging principle were studied which would make the general technique even more useful for the monitoring plasma ***,the prior-iteration algorithm was used for image reconstruction,which provided the fastest speed and the same image quality as the Landerweber iteration *** results clearly show the shape,size and motion of plasma jet,which is a breakthrough in the visualization of plasma ***, numerical simulation was conducted to acquire the electron number density and electron energy distributions in plasma jet which were used to demonstrate the validity of the electric nature of plasma jet and the imaging principle.

Introduction The study of CarbonⅢ(CⅢ) radiation is of benefit to the research of tokamak edge physics and the amelioration of tokamak *** J-TEXT tokamak,a PDA array is used for detecting plasma CⅢradiation,and its characteristics in high density are studied. Experimental results In J-TEXT,oscillation of CⅢsignal is observed when a kind of big sawtooth appears on soft x-ray in high density state,as shown in Fig.1.
