Purpose:Previous study found that the mean thoracic vertebral body(TVB)dose and low-dose parameters(V5-V20)were associated with severe acute hematologic toxicities(HT)during concurrent chemoradiation(CRT)for lung cancer,and we identified the optimal dosimetric cut-off *** to lung cancer,esophageal cancers are closer to the thoracic vertebral bodies and require longer radiation fields and different chemotherapy *** optimal dosimetric cut-off points for TVB for lung cancer maybe unfit for esophageal *** aim of this study was to determine the optimal dosimetric cut-off points for TVBs of esophageal cancers.

The breast cancer susceptibility gene(BRCA)is an important tumour suppressor gene and tumour susceptibility *** line BRCA1/2 mutations(gBRCAm)significantly increase the risk of breast cancer and other cancers in *** we report the case of a 48-year-old woman presenting with the c.3487_3488insA(*** 163AsnfsX2)BRCA1 *** was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 42,and ovarian cancer at the age of *** sister had a history of breast cancer with the same BRCA1 mutation,and her mother died from ovarian *** experience from the present case suggests that the c.3487_3488insA(*** 163AsnfsX2)BRCA1 mutation should be changed from the category of possible pathogenic mutation,to the category of pathogenic mutation.

Purpose:To investigate the inhibiting efficacy of adeno-associated virus 2 mediated gene transfer of vascular endothelial growth factor Trap(AAV2-VEGF-Trap)for ***:The intracranial transplanted model of glioma in rats was *** were treated with AAV2-VEGF-Trap,Avastin,temozolomide(TMZ),TMZ combined with AAV2-VEGF-Trap,TMZ combined with Avastin and the control group,respectively.A 7.0 Tesla magnetic resonance(MR)scanner was used at day 7,day 14 and day 21 after the implantation to assess the tumor volume and obtain the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)*** day 21,immunohistochemical and terminal dexynucleotidyl transferase(TdT)-mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)staining of the tumor were used to evaluate the effects on tumor angiogenesis,proliferation and apoptosis.

Purpose:To assess the effects of retention enemas with Chinese medicinal formulas on radiation proctitis(RP)in patients with pelvic malignant disease following radiotherapy(RT).Methods and Materials:This was a retrospective multicenter study in which patients with RP were treated with retention enemas with Chinese medicinal *** data were collected from patients'medical records in 5 hospitals from 2011 to 2016.A total of 105 patients with RP who received retention enema were recruited for the *** were divided into 3 treatment groups based on enema medications,as follows:Treatment A(intestinal mucosa protector,symptomatic treatment),Treatment B(symptomatic treatment),and Treatment C(Chinese medicinal formulas,symptomatic treatment).

Objective:To explore whether there is a relationship between before and intro-treatment gross tumor volume(GTV)and prognosis of esophageal suqamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods:Between 2011 and 2016,83 patients with advanced(cT2-4Nl-3M0)ESCC received concurrent chemotherapy and were evaluated to participate radiomised to this trial NCT01551589.11/83 at every two week(radiation 0Gy\0th week,20Gy\2th week,40Gy\4th week,60Gy\6th week)and 83/83 patients at the fourth week(4th week,40Gy).Simulator CT images were acquired according to the same treatment center and their GTV volumes were *** parameters were studied for their potential correlation with overall survival(OS),progression free survival(PFS).

Purpose:Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy are the standard of care for advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma *** randomised trials have evaluate the survival and toxicity of adjuvant *** AND METHODS:In a prospective study,we analysed retrospectively patients with locally advanced ESCC,treated with concurrent chemoradiation with or without adjuvant chemotherapy in a single high-volume *** 2011 and 2016,103 patients with advanced(cT2-4Nl-3Ml)ESCC received treatment and were evaluated to participate radiomised to this trial NCT01551589.20 patients were excluded this study because 7,5 and 9 patients were Ml,more than 75 years and abnormal liver function.83 patients were included in this study.40 and 43 patients underwent concurrent chemoradiotherapy without and with adjuvant *** the modified Time-to-Event Continual Reassessment Method(TITE-CRM)chemotherapy cycles escalation with *** was graded according to CTCAE Version 3.0.

Objectives:To detect of the expression level of hPer2 and hCryl in Eca-109 esophageal cancer cell lines at different time points,and then to observe the chemosensitivity of Eca-109 cell lines to docetaxel and cisplatin at the peak and nadir time point ***:Circadian gene expression of Eca-109 cell lines were induced by dark-culture,total RNA were extracted every two hours,and then expression level of the two circadian were determined by *** were divided into three groups according to the different culture conditions and dosing time *** plus cisplatin solutions which were diluted to the following concentration gradients 1 O-8,1 0-7,10-6,1 O-5,10-4,10-3μM,were given at the peak time point,nadir time point and conventional time(8:00~9:00)*** inhibition of Eca-109 cell proliferation was measured using a CCK-8 kit.

Background:Recombinant human endostatin(endostar)has been documented to be an inhibitor of tumor *** aim of this randomized phase Ⅱ study was to assess the efficacy and safety of endostar combined with chemoradiotherapy(CRT)in locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods:Locally advanced ESCC with a performance status of 0-1 were randomly assigned to endostar group(endostar 7.5mg/m2 D1-D14 with CRT)or the control group(CRT only).Patients in both groups were treated with docetaxel(75 mg/m2 on D1)/CDDP(25 mg/m2 on Dl-D3)-based intensity-modulated radiation therapy(IMRT,60-66 Gy/30-33f/6-7wks).CT perfusion imaging and immunohistochemical staining of tumor microvessel density(MVD)were assessed before and after the treatment of *** primary end point is overall survival(OS).The secondary end points are the effect of endostar on angiogenesis,progression-free survival(PFS)and object response rate(ORR).

Objectives:We aimed to investigate the effect of MMF on radiation dermatitis in patients with Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinomas(HNSCC).Methods:HNSCC Patients scheduled for radical radiotherapy to the bilateral neck with the same radiation doses were *** were randomised to apply mometasone furoate cream(MMF)to the either neck skin from the first day until 2 weeks after radiotherapy,or until the treated skin *** severity of the acute radiation dermatitis was evaluated weekly by using the modified Radiation Therapy Oncology Group score,pain intensity,and itch ***:82 data of 41 patients are qualified for *** ARD significantly differed between the experimental and control sides after radiotherapy assessment(P=0.039).MMF reduced the ARD stages when the skin radiotherapy dose was<6000cGY(P=0.01)and showed no improvement when the dose was≥6000cGY(P=0.699).The MMF cream significantly reduced the itch and pain on the test side regardless of the radiotherapy dose and ARD stage(P=0.000).Conclusions:This study showed that MMF inunction after high-dose radiotherapy(>50Gy)can prevent acute radiation dermatitis,especially when the skin dose is<6000cGY.
