The 17F nuclei in the ground state may have a proton halo structure since the last proton separation energy is Sp = 0.601 MeV. An abnormally enhancement of the reaction cross section for 17F was observed by Zhang et al, indicating the exsitence of the proton halo structure. The electric quadrupole moment gives a sensitive measure of deviation of the nuclear charge distribution from spherical symmetry. The quadrupole moemnt is a better probe than the reaction cross section for proton halo structure. In this work the electric quadrupole moment of 17F (Iπ= 5/2+, T1/2 = 64.49 s) was determined by the β-NQR method. The 17F nuclei were produced through the 16O(d, n)17F reaction with a 3.0 MeV deuteron beam from the 2 ×1.7MV tandem

The double species model has been employed to calculate dependence of the grainboundary cohesion on the Mg bulk concentration,for the Ni3Al-x at.%Mg(100%Ni/100%Ni)[001]/∑5(210)/36.87°symmetric tilt grain boundary,at the *** show thatwhen x(the Mg bulk concentration)increases from 0.1 to 0.5,the Mg enrichment increases,boththe Ni enrichment and the Al depletion maximizes at x=*** calculations also show the bestcohesion of the grain boundary at x=0.2.
