Hot spring tourism is in accord with new demand of modern tourists,it is very popular in south China especially in Guangdong Province,this fashionable leisure tourism has spread all over the China and begin to take shape in backward area—Gansu *** author adopt method of empirical study and case study,analysis condition about development of hot spring tourism in Gansu *** point out the existing problems such as (1)hot spring tourism development is in low level,lacking of multiple function;(2)left out market segment,has a poor marketing level;(3)has a bad quality of service in hot spring sightseeing district;(4)has little protection awareness of hot *** author put forward some suggestions in terms of development strategy of resource,hoping to help to future development of hot spring tourism.(1) In the process of tourism development,exploit culture connotation of hot spring,strengthen supporting facilities of hot spring tourism,integrate with surrounding tourist resources,thus form overall development of dominant function,supporting function and miscellaneous function;(2)dedicate to market segment and market through many channels;(3)strengthen personnel training and improve soft-quality of spa;(4)pay equal attention to protection and exploitation of resources,lead to a sustainable development.

Detecting land use/cover (LULC) changes in the rural-urban fringe areas (RUFAs) timely and accurately with satellite image is essential for land use planning and management in *** traditional spectral-based change vector analysis (CVA) proved to be an effective and potential method in LULC change detection,it encounters reasonable difficulty in RUFAs because of the deficiency of spectral information in the satellite *** order to detect LULC changes in RUFAs effectively,this paper proposed an extended CVA approach by combing the textural change information into the traditional spectral-based *** performance of the extended CVA in Haidian district,Beijing,China showed its improvement compared with the traditional spectral-based *** overall accuracy increased from 90.67% to 95.33% and the Kappa coefficient increased from 0.81 to *** advantage of the extended CVA lies in its integration of spectral change information and textural information to detect LULC changes effectively,especially in discriminating some LULC changes that are spectrally similar but texturally different in *** extended CVA has great potential to be widely used to detect LULC changes in the RUFAs which are often heterogeneous and fragmental in nature with rich textural information.

An important component in urban geosimulation models based on cellular automata is the local spatial interaction between neighborhood land-use *** interaction between the location of facilities,residential areas and industries has been given more attention in some *** interactions are often addressed as the main factors which decide urban dynamics as other factors like natural constraints and institutional controls (land-use policies) are comparatively stable in certain ***,understanding and calibration of neighborhood interaction for urban geosimulation model is complex due to the many interaction coefficients that do not necessarily yield unique solutions: different processes (rule sets) may lead to identical *** of this research is to compare neighborhood interaction of urban land-use change among three metropolitan areas of Tokyo,Nagoya,and Osaka by utilizing the neighborhood interaction model which was proposed for understanding urban dynamics by the authors in *** research aims at to understand the difference of neighborhood interaction of urban dynamics among different areas so as to provide empirical analysis for constructing urban geosimulation *** results show that although neighborhood interaction is a little different for every active land-use type,the interactions shows similar structure characteristics for one land-use type in the three metropolitan *** regressed neighborhood interactions maybe represent the general characteristics of neighborhood effect on urban dynamics of Japan.

The needs for digital models of real environment such as 3D terrain or virtualr city model are ***,Oceanic data,which is measured or surveyed is vary in kind and *** the same time,it has different data formats or expression ways according to particular study ***,the types of Oceanographic Data are different from one-dimensional to *** there are static data at one side,and time series data the other side which represent spatial distribution and variation of oceanic environment ***,there are increasing need to appication of Web 3D GIS for Oceanographic Data ***3D GIS is three diemensional GIS system in internet environment such as something more than Google Earth.3D visualization is one of the key features of *** the last decade,much effort has been made in developing 3D visualization theories and methods for a better understanding and modeling of real-world *** need for 3D information is rapidly increasing in urban planning,cadastre,environmental monitoring,public rescue operations,transportation monitoring,military *** paper presents the review of web 3d GIS status and standardization regarding representation of geographicl information,especially for 3D shape and appearance of Oceanographic Data ***,3D GIS is more useful system to manage and visualize 3D real world data than 2D ***,Dynamic interactive 3D visualization more useful than static map in internet GIS environment.

Land use practice is considered as the major human behavior of exploring and reclaiming the earth surface features,affecting water flow,land-sliding,soluble nutrient transportation and soil erosion dynamics *** these processes,however,are believed as the main types of land degradation and environmental deterioration in terrestrial ecosystems,threatening the harmoniousness between human and nature *** land use conversion in today’s world may possibly increase the uncertainties and complexities of all these processes,making accurate prediction and hazard control more *** land use change and related consequences on terrestrial ecosystems is thus becoming *** general,population expansion,climate change and relevant land policies are considered as three major drivers of land use change,although many other specific factors may also play constructive *** order to control the losses and damages of severe water loss,pollution diffusion and soil erosion in the key susceptive regions,scientific planning and careful implementation of land use readjustment are absolutely *** this paper therefore,the causes,driving forces and hydrological consequences of land use change on terrestrial ecosystems,were stressed and ***,the related countermeasures were also *** is thought to be of significance for land optimization and hazard control,which is expected to provide references for the scientific communities and policymakers.

Vulnerability is the hot focus and front field in the global environmental change studies and it is also contented by many important science *** system of man-sea relationship,as a key content of marine economic geography,promotes the positive recycle of man-sea relationship and the whole regional system of man-land relationship,and it pushes in the development of man-land territorial system and regional sustainable *** on comprehensive development data of coastal cities in 2007,the article analyses the relationship between regional economic development,resource-environmental resumption and society development,using the triangle methodology to select indictors by susceptibility,adaptation and resilience for constructing vulnerability indicator system and appraisal model,then classifys into 6 types of man-sea territorial system of 53 coastal cities of *** results are as follows:(1)from the region aspect: most of coastal cities in east area,northeast area and central area belong to ES type,and some east area cities belong to ENS type;(2) from the city hierarchy aspect: the megalopolis and big cities mainly belong to ES and ENS type,most of medium cities are ES type,and three small cities are all ES type;(3) according the vulnerability restriction factors,it proposes sustainable development strategies.

With a population of 140 million,the metropolitan city of Daejeon is the sixth largest city in *** increase in population and municipal area during the 1980s led to the formation of a definite urban *** present,the city reveals multiple nuclei structure,consisting of two CBDs and two *** the late 1980s,the service industry became the leading economic sector in Daejeon mainly in terms of professional *** businesses that were mainly responsible for this trend were transport,administration,scientific research and development,tourism,and *** city began to expand after the opening of the Gyeongbu (Seoul-Busan) Railway in 1900;this railway passed through Daejeon,and the old town began to develop around the *** the Daejeon station was built,the population of Daejeon grew *** was mainly in the 1980s,that Doonsan New Town and Daedeok Science Town were *** compared with the old town,the Doonsan New Town has well-appointed commercial facilities and neighborhood *** residents of Daedeok Science Town are supposed to have several features with education level,which would result in differences with another town in terms of resident ***,the purpose of this research is to grasp the social structure of residential areas and how it evolves with the development of a new *** this purpose,I used data that are aggregated in terms of dong,the smallest administrative *** addition,the residential differentiation was estimated using factor *** variation in factor analysis is based on population,housing,and *** assess a recent situation,the target years have been set as 2005.

Research on driving force and the change of landscape pattern of land utilization can discover the disciplinarian from out-of-order distributing of *** space-time changes of landscape pattern of land utilization were in terms of LandsatTM data during 2000 and 2005 based on GIS and RS *** principle and technique of landscape ecology were used to study the landscape pattern changes,and the land utilization driving force of Zhangye City was discussed in terms of natural and human *** show that the grassland is the matrix of the study region,and the mixed grassland landscape pattern is composed of grassland and relative principal parts of unused land,woodland and arable *** landscape types changed at different degree,In 2005,the area of grassland is 21189.12km2,decling 1.39% rather then 2000,and the woodland is 3818.13km2,increasing 11.4%.And the area and patch number of unused land changed *** environment is the basic condition of landscape pattern of land utilization,and the land cover pattern directs human actions in land utilization and the human factors is the guiding factor for the land-use change,which can by directly shown in the water redistribution in Hei River,the conflict of increasing population and *** the support of economic development and planning principles for land utilization,the sustainable utilization and development of land could realize by rational development and conservation of the land in the study region.
