At present, the heavy truck tubeless workshop adopts manual or low automatic way to transport the wheels, it is necessary to design a set of control system of wheel automatic transportation line which can run safely and stably in workshop environment, instead of the existing low automation transportation mode. the paper introduces an automatic transportation line using PLC and WinCC technology, the main content includes the introduction of the overall structure of the automatic transportation line, and the composition and function of automatic production line are described in detail, the selection of PLC, step motor to drive, etc. Use PLC technology to design control programs, apply configuration software technology to design the monitoring system, and connect PLC and configuration software to form a control system through Ethernet communication. Finally, the paper describes the experimental results. the system has the characteristics of high automation, data visualization, simple operation and stable operation. this paper presents a new technique for controlling powered wheelchairs. A Raspberry Pi microcomputer is used to assist in controlling direction. A Raspberry Pi is inserted between user input switches and powered wheelchair motors to create a more intelligent Human Machine Interface (HMI). An electronic circuit is created that consists of an ultrasonic sensor array and a set of control relays. the sensors provided information about obstacles surrounding the wheelchair. Python programming language was used to create a code that digitized the output from the user switches and assessed information provided by the ultrasonic sensor array. the code was loaded onto a Raspberry Pi and the Raspberry Pi controlled voltages supplied to the motors. Tests were conducted and results showed that the new system can successfully assist a wheelchair user in avoiding obstacles. the system can be used as an intelligent interface between any input device or sensor system and wheelchair motors. © 2020 ieee.

In complex outdoor environments, the conventional control methods which use dynamic model were hard to satisfy the special control requirement of mobile robots. In this paper, the composite control method which includes CMAC neural network and Fuzzy control was constructed. the neural network improves the self-learning ability of controller when the model and input signal change unpredictability, and the fuzzy logic was used to simulate the experience of experts and intuition of human brain, maintain the stability and robustness of system in rural environment. the experiments showed that this method could improve the high mobility and stability performance in mobile robot path tracking problem in different paths, terrain and geological conditions.

Using an expert system to make driving a powered-wheelchair less problematic is investigated. the system interprets sensor and joystick signals and then mixes them and improves that collaboration to control speed and direction. Ultrasonic sensors are used to identify hazardous circumstances and suggest a safer direction and speed. Results from drivers completing a series of timed routes are presented. Users completed tests using joysticks to control their chair with and then without a microcomputer and sensor system. A recent system is used to compare and contrast the results. this new system consistently performed quicker than the recent system. It also appears that the quantity of support provided by the sensors and microcomputer should be adjusted depending on situations and surroundings © 2020 ieee.

A boundary and distributed control of a movable vehicle-mounted flexible link carrying a payload depicted by partial differential equations (PDEs) is considered. A disturbance observer is carried out and controllers are designed to trace positions of joint and vehicle simultaneously with input constraints. In addition, elastic deformation of robot link is also eliminated by adopting proposed control laws. then candidate Lyapunov functions are constructed and asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is proved using extended LaSalle's invariance principle (LIP). Finally, control performance of the closed-loop system is verified by numerical simulations.

Traditional networks were initially designed to scale fast, but in turn are harder to monitor and manage. the rise in the Internet of things (IoT) has caused an increase in the number of mobile nodes and thus the topology changes constantly. this compels researchers to explore more efficient methods to monitor and manage the network. Software Defined Networking (SDN) have become the primary focus of the research community due to the flexibility it enables by the separation of the data and the control plane. However, the centralized nature of SDN causes a scalability and a single point of failure problems. To combat this problem, we propose an adaptable and robust network management approach using machine learning while considering the control plane architecture for software-defined networks. Our system aims to enhance the network resource utilization and increase the SDN's scalability by using multiple controllers and assigning the switches among them autonomously, based on network traffic patterns.

According to the characteristics of long lag, nonlinear, multi-input human factors, uncertainty, time-varying, fuzziness and so on, an automatic control system for coagulant dosing in waterworks is studied and developed by using the artificial neural network algorithm to adapt and self-study the surrounding environment. the system takes a water plant of Zongguan, the largest water plant in Wuhan, as an example to study the influence of light GBM integrated algorithm on the coagulant dosing effect of the control system. Based on the open data access standard of OLE-DB, it realizes the pretreatment of sample data reading and storage of WinCC industrial control system. the system mainly includes the function modules of dosing process data query, curve generation, dosing query, alarm log, alarm statistics, drug consumption statistics, fluctuation evaluation alarm setting, etc., and the successful operation of the system in Zongguan water plant realizes the online monitoring and full automatic operation of the production and operation parameters of the coagulation dosing process. It provides guarantee for the safety production of the water plant, achieves the purpose of saving drug consumption, reducing labor and reducing the labor intensity of the operators. © 2021, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

For the dynamic reconfiguration of the distribution network when distributed generation are connected to the distribution network, a dynamic reconfiguration model of distribution network with on-load tap-changing transformer and static var compensator is proposed. First, Monte Carlo simulation method is used to form curve of wind/photovoltaic power output. then, a dynamic grid reconfiguration model is established with the goal of minimizing power loss and voltage distribution. And, an improved NSGA-II algorithm integrated with constraint handling technique is proposed to solve the model. Finally, take the ieee 33-bus system as an example for simulation, and the results show that the model can reduce system operating costs while improving system power quality. © 2020 ieee.

this paper proposes a consensus-based control strategy for a Water Distribution system (WDS) which enables the system to continuously supply the demand minimizing the impact of faulty equipment within the WDS facilities. the convergence in the control system is achieved by utilizing the concept of cellular automata. Simulation of the system using MATLAB shows the effectiveness of the proposed method with convergence time is achieved on the 7th step. the method proposed in this work is scalable and applicable to any large scale of WDS configurations. © 2020 ieee

this paper presents the sliding mode observer for sensorless control of 18 slot 14 pole permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system. the 18 slot 14 pole permanent magnet synchronous machine is designed and analyzed. the sliding mode observer (SMO) for sensorless controller is investigated for this motor drives. the tests show that the sliding mode observer for sensorless controller displays a very robust behavior. © 2020 ieee.
